Biggest presales of any Nix game yet. It has to be right.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Nicely timed too, on the back of a couple of away wins

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

No-one doubts this but Brandon's taxi driver said sales were already very strong before the away wins.

Must be true then. Taxi drivers know stuff.'

Wasn't suggesting it was organised that way, but the back to back away wins, and publicity, came at the perfect time.

Also:

Wins - not in the hands on the marketing department

Marketing - in the hands of the marketing department.

If there was a secret to the first one then we wouldn't need a marketing department. Sadly there isn't, so the second is necessary to the lifeblood of the Club.

Funny that the moment there is any marketing effort from the Club, the angst about lack of marketing turns to angst about the marketing.

Don't forget the Piri-style dragging of the thumb across the neck while rolling your eyes back.

Oh, and bodyslamming someone in to a casket.

Yes it's true, the All Blacks have been reassembled and are going to play the Heart in a hybrid football/rugby demonstration match. It will then be announced that the Nix fixture has been rescheduled to Dunedin next Wednesday at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

If they announce the crowd as 10,000 plus can we try not to chant "where were you when we were sh*t"

Exactly. So much this.

It's just completely counter productive, elitist, and liable to drive the newly won fans away from coming back.

It's the worst possible chant.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

the home final matches we chanted that and few got all upset thought we were trying to be elitist and they refuse to come back.

sh*t

Just realised that the Local Football Club gate share initiative has tickets at almost half price???

Why would you discount the tickets so heavily for such an initiative which basically benefits the clubs?

Ok not my call but this sounds a little generous from the Club.

Agree but in this instance the "where were you when we were sh*t" trumps that."Get into him" is aimed at the player not the "potential Phoenix fans" we're trying to attract to every home game

It was just banter and anyone who was genuinely upset is an idiot.

I would also like to hear their answer to tne question...

Seems like you have to be in THAT seat at THAT time! Else it jackpots! Make sure you aren't buying pies at half time!

Wow, is it just me or is it feast/famine when it comes to Nix marketing??

How are they going to gauge which of the many things they are doing actually did the business??

Honestly, I think it's a spectacularly underthought idea.

We play in Yellow with some black, not black. Are people going to change what has been lucky because someone decrees we should wear black?  You've got a fan base with enough Yellow to cover the surface of Wellington so you tell them to wear a different colour?  Bizarre.

It's not like Black is even the colour of the national football side.
agree....wearing our home strip to the game
