On the transferring of seaon passes, the thing here is that this year the primary acct holder name got put on most/all cards, so can't really do anything about this :)

Great work everyone. Can't believe it is now up to $680 in just 24 hours or so. I like the idea of a family pass in the Yellow Fever name so that you have control over it, and work out either paper tickets or meeting the family at the gate. Definitely need a photo with the lucky family each week to go up on the Facebook page etc.

Amazing that it is at $680! Thank you to everyone that is donating and to the ones planning too.

while transferring season tickets isn't technically allowed, I doubt there will actually be a problem. It's not like security check their ID.

Would just have to make sure the kids use the kids tickets.

Im pretty sure I've seen a option on the memberships website to get paper tickets instead of a season pass card.

Think this would be better if possible.

Eliminates the risk of someone losing it. Plus you don't have to worry about coordinating collecting the pass off them at the end of the game.

They are always wanting people to get involved and help out.  Its great someone else is running with this (and doing a fantastic job).  They will get involved if they need too, or they may just discuss with Matt and Brandon privately

Chucked in $50. Call it penance for some cards I may have issued incorrectly over the last 23 years of refereeing.

Need some advice, have received this generous offer from Westpac and not sure what is the best option?

You could use the VIP Member Experience tickets for a raffle to help with additional fundraising – i.e all the profits of the raffle could by split per match to cover the F&B at the game for each family?

I could make the prize for four adult tickets which might be of more value for a raffle? The value of these ticket and passes is $500 so hopefully you could raise over this.

(A Westpac Stadium membership experience at a 2014/15 Phoenix A-league football game (excluding Semis or Finals) of your choice including match tickets for two adults and two children (or four adults) with Members’ Club Guest Passes” this includes unreserved seating in the Deloitte Gallery and Deloitte Lounge on Level 4. Plus we’ll also contribute a $50 food and beverage voucher to be used in the Members’ lounge areas.)

Alternatively, we could instead offer a $100 F&B voucher which could be split across the next 5 home games at Westpac Stadium for $20 per family?

So do we go for the raffle and use it to potential raise more funds that can be used? I'm happy to try do a raffle or see if we can sell it through Trade Me?

I think two things:

1. Raffle the Stadium Membership Experience. To clarify what the proposal is, the way I read it this is for a single game. I say do this because i think it has the potential to raise more than the $100 (easily) and, I think it also might generate a good news story...stadium and Yello Fever working together to share match day experience for Ronald McDonald House family.

2. Talk to the stadium about vouchers, but vouchers we buy with the money raised (a) by the raffle and (b) by the givealittle fund already underway. Then we can give vouchers for food and beverage, plus a scarf plus tickets plus a car park pass etc. to the family.

Very, we are now on $950 which is amazing in 24 hours.

The offer from Westpac is for a one of game, so would raffle it off to raise more funds.

I like the idea of seeing what we can do about then getting vouchers for the families towards food.

I honestly can't say this enough, but you guys make me so proud to be part of this! When this idea started we were looking at hopefully giving one family a nice day out and it has become something so much more.

This means so much to me and I really appreciate everyone that has donated and offered advice.

Just on this, I have had a call from Wellington Phoenix and discuss this with them. Either the idea that it say has our Yellow Fever name on it or the idea of getting paper tickets we can just give each week. They are going to discuss this and some other things and get back to me.

With reference to taking a photo of the recipients. I reckon it should be kept almost private. Perhaps a photo of the recipient snd their family in a match programme and of course a copy of the photo given to the family chosen as a reminder of their child experiencing a happy moment.

Perhaps the name on the family season ticket could be "Yellow One". For a brief moment in time that family would be the number one fan.

I agree with the idea that if there is no one applicable at RMH then Canteen could or should be approached.

To those that have given, immense applause and to those who plan on giving, good on ya. Pay day tomorrow for me and probably a few others. Yay.

Thanks LG, I have thought about the photo and had thought we could play that one by ear. I know the photo is a great thing and lets everyone see the family we sponsored, but also we are dealing with sick children and it could be they don't like or feel upto having their photo taken. So Photomac has offered to take the photos, but we will do that per situation at the time.

Second, I love your idea for the name and making the child feel like the number one fan.

Couldnt you just get a season pass and hold onto it,surly they have the capacity to print out paper tickets for each home game. The families involved might like the idea of keeping the tickets as a memento.

As far as photos go think you need to be careful as some people may not like what they are going through becoming public.

Yes I'm leaning towards this and getting the tickets but using ones we can print out to give to the families each week. I'm quite happy managing this.
