nah hang on, i'll stick with the 'winner takes all and the team as unit - not just a collection of individuals - theory'! - durrrante on the bench
Warning: long coaching exposition.
Ok. If for an example will you be willing to put Johnson in the starting lineup no matter what even if he has been outshine by Dodd in the DCM position at practice all week? Are you going to allow players in the line-up if they have been rubbish at practice and someone else is outperforming them recently?
If so, then should any players bother to do the hard work in training if they are not going to be in the starting line-up or if they going to be in the line-up, what is the incentive to stop the other squad members to take their spot? It can't last long enough and you are setting yourself for trouble later on. And team selection consistency is very important. You cannot change your selection criteria from week to week just because you have a win under your belt. If you change, you will create unnecessary problems and some players will complain.
Thats why it add to the difficulty in the away games. You have to announce the traveling squad before you leave and then hold the announcement of the starting line-up at pre-match training in order to keep the players' motivation up for the game. Or else the passion, commitment and the discipline will lose ground with the players in the training and during match game. The idea of training is to stimulate match conditions and if the drive to compete for the line-up spots is removed, then the match play will suffer.
On the home games, you can announce the line-up and bench after the light training the day before and then have some line-up focus at pre-match training as the players would be psychologically ready on the day.
Most of the best and richer football clubs in the world announce line-up at the pre-match training either in the morning of the match or the day before.
In summary.
It's not an very good idea to just keep the same line-up (despite the previous win) while things changes during the week and
you have to account for players being competitive and keeping the players being challenged during the week and then for the match. You have to focus on the next match game and not on the past match game. So
to keep the same winning line-up by default, is looking backwards and not forwards where the next match is and so it de-emphasizing match focus mentally for the players. You can't change your consistency for the team selection because you feel on a row.

BTW.
What do you really want in the club with the confidence on the high?
At professional level, scouts, tactics and strategies as well as your players' recent performance and practice form that then dictates the line-up and bench. Injuries and out of form players helps to decides your line-up.
The more in-form players at the practice the more competitive edge, the harder it is to draw up your line-up. This competitive nature flows onto the field and confidence is on the high with the players. Creates win-win situations.
This wins matches. This is a good problem to have because at the very beginning, as a coach, you have been
rewarding players with game time for their efforts and their efforts has lifted up the playing quality. You can afford to rotation them around in a organised fashion with long-term planning of the season as their confidence is on the high in the club.
Warning
However you have to
double-check each of your players if they feel that they are get enough game time and feel they are included. Their confidence is high enough for them to complete hard for the spots in the line-up. There is always someone in the club sulking somewhere even when you are winning, but sometimes some players best is not enough. There is
always a hierarchy of players and sometimes you can't please everyone. But they should be players with a decent professional outlook.
