Very low PAX... not sure with the weather there will be such a large walk-up crowd as last time.

Two game ago the crowd was under 4000.  The 7784 I just got doen't strike me as a disaster.

Word of mouth and osmosis from all the half price tickets we've biffed out (I'm up to 36 now) and 10k is not impossible.

Still 2 days to go - I suspect quite a few will buy after checking weather forecast tomorrow - assuming it's still for a fine day.
 
Should also get a decent walk up crowd - again if weather is good.
 
If the weather Gods play their part I'm picking 10k+.

7835 is pretty good though people

IF the weather comes to the party I am picking 12k.

Really surprised, I thought our crowds would be exponentially bigger for the rest of the season after that last effort, much like 09/10

If we win this game then it still could take off for the last two games

Yes, and stadium memberships, who don't always turn up.

That's why the actual attendance has occasionally been less than the PAX and why PAX isn't a very good indicator unless it really starts to get up to the high numbers.

In the Nix' current form, however, a lot of those people will probably turn up.

Am lost so help me...

PAX is the number sequentially of tickets sold for each match, They EXCLUDE seasons tickets and others. It is a measure of the number of  tickets sold for that event.

False. They include season tickets. It is a measure of the number of tickets sold, including all kinds of season memberships that qualify the holder to attend the game.

Think of it this way - the PAX count for each game starts at about 3,000. Those people have already paid for the right to attend the game.

It says that on them but they cost more, according to my total transaction cost

almost like it's exclusive of gst except that it says 'incl gst'

it is the same when you buy a $25.00 ticket other weeks, it has $22.95 inc gst never understood how that works if it has $22.95 on the ticket that is how much you should pay

You sure? I'm not so certain. Prepared to be wrong,  as my friend's match  day PAX from last home game ( bought as a  walkup and he got to his seat 15 mins after kickiff) meant, based on the above, tha tthe attendance would only  have been about 10K.

When you buy a ticket at the gate do they print it on the spot? Or are they pre-printed? (which would explain the above).

They print them all out I believe, the booths have printers in them.

Just bought 6 adults and 2 rug-rats. PAX 8652 - 8659
