Why the hell would you have Greenie on the bench? No point. Leo should be on the bench if we're going on form.

It also depends on Costa's stamina. He was tiring towards the end of the last game. It may be best to have him run himself ragged in the first half and bring Greenie on for the second.

Numpty.

Our imports shouldn't be starting on the bench unless they are useless and fat in which case they shouldn't be @ the club.

You fail to see the work greeny does off the ball don't you?

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Yeah maybe. Either way I reckon using the full bench and squeezing as much energy out of the boys as possible could pay dividends.

and what we are doing now isn't paying dividends? yes we lost 3-1 to syd who are on fire.. but we beat GC 6-0 and put 3 past the jets.. we've lost 3 times this season and are doing mighty fine atm.

don't change anything..

Hey SB we have a lot of class players all juggling for positions in the squad I was just thinking out loud how to make the most of this. Greenie is a class player but Leo and Costa have proven themselves also.

I am sure RH will go with your plan and in all fairness it's a pretty good one.

Can't remember the last time we played 3 games in about 7 days, though..

That is one reason why we should be letting players rest (even when they are our in form imports) and mix things up just a little. I am not suggesting putting our best players on the bench permanntly nor am i dissing Greenachre as his work rate is top drawer. Be intersted to see how they go against Perth and hope we smash them. wokingfan2009-11-07 17:23:39

Yeah but it's only one week, not sure about all this resting business, if they are being paid by the Phoenix and doing well within a formation and tactics set by the coaches then they should play, allwhites matches should not impact on this. (yeah I know about bringing attention to the game in Wellington and NZ etc).

why change the team from what they played against the Jets? Unless you are looking at players returning from injury.

greenacre should never be on the bench.
he either starts or is not in the match day team at all.

before the greenie fans with the calls of "look at his runs off the ball, man" show up - this is exactly why he shouldn't be on the bench. he would offer absolutely no impact whatsoever. none. at all. he is not an impact player.

he either starts or is in the stands.
