I just went down to the chch ticketek office and got my tickets for the 4 of us
I asked the woman at the desk (miserable b1tch too i might add) for tickets in the yellow fever block, and also stated i couldnt remember if it was block 21 or 23, and she pointed it out on a printout of the stadium. all was well and good til i got back to work and got the tickets out.......and the silly cow has put us in block 2!!
I rang ticketek wellington up to ask if i should come to them tomorrow and get them changed (as i cant get back to the chch one today) and she said "dont worry about it, itll never sell out, you should be all right to sit pretty much where ever once you get in there..."
Once again - ticketek have proved they are just AWESOME

What a b**ch at wellington ticketek it might not sell out but its not like any seat can sit in the zone since you get checked at the aisle. On a happier note saw 2 people in town with phoenix shirts on.

Do they check the tickets when you go in the zone? The last few times ive been up the only time you need the ticket is when you first go in...

TickeTroll strikes again... I wish she'd get another job so she could be useless somewhere else. Winston Peters might need a PA?

They started checking tickets after the CCM match in response to the bottle thrower.

Ah right, that sucks a bit then. We'll just have to try and get as close as we can, or at least as much as they'll let us

And just to clarify then - it is block 21 the 'Zone'..?

Yeh they do struggle, but hey clearly its not just your ticketek in Welli - its all across the board!

Jump into Aisle 21 with your ticket then walk round to the Fever Zone.
The ticket situation was better when it was a free for all...

Cheers guys

I'll be the one wearing the huge yellow and black afro and phoenix scarf

Something i missed out and just remembered was that the ticketek Welli girl said that its not an issue coz when the walk up crowd buy tickets, they arent allocated and they just sit where they want to.

The Fever Zone is marked as the block of seats between Aisles 21 and 22, but really it's just wherever we stand, it sometimes spills over into neighbouring aisles. Just head into any section where a steward isn't present then walk over to the zone. The stewards are strict towards letting people in through the vomitoria (or tunnels if you prefer that word) but are pretty lax towards letting people walk into seats around half time and such - to their credit

I'm not going - 12000

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'll just be happy to be there along with as many others who want to be there too!  Hope we at least get more than 8,039 we got for Perth so that the average at least goes up!

I've just given up a week in Rotovegas to be back for this game! Ironically I didn't plan the season but I hoped to attend as many games as I could, this game means I will have made it to every game! i could have had a better run of shifts if I tried. only one shift swap the whole season! Phew!!

Bringing my sister along for her debut game - Rugby die-hard! Who knows! I'm disappointed with the fire service crew though, all piked off on holidays - sad, very very sad!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

Quite a few people queuing outside the Ticketek at the MFC. All, apart from 1 person, was
coming out with tickets for the game while I was there.

The people buying were a complete cross-section with young, not-so-young, foriegn tourists, and families so the crowd will be a real mix by the looks of it.

I'm slightly disappointed!

I've booked at Waikanae previously and had the same experience about lack of seats in the preferred aisle - and then got to Westpac and there's acres of spare seats; so I don't know what the go is; have a check on spare seats when you get to the game tonight - I'd be interested if it is sold out where the ticketek lady indicated.

The match I found it hard to get seats in the YF zone for was the All Whites game. From memory the attendance was around 2,500.

Go figure??

You'd have struggled at Champs even if they were open.  Pretty much wiped out of stock pre-Xmas (supplier problems meant they couldn't maintain demand in fact).

They were expecting some early next week.

I think the "kids under 16 free" promo will push the crowd over 10 for sure and maybe even up to 12

Might need to check your maths.  For the average to go up the crowd needs to be greater than our current average (not greater than our lowest crowd turnout).  Obviosuly by posting this I am bored and just killing time before kickoff.

sounds like it is gonna be choca in fever zone. If they have nearly sold out that means there is gonna be at leats four people to every seat haha. Nah seriously - if you are asked to move out of someones spot then do it.
