This is all speculation based on his facebook status...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

In the Perth newspaper;

"Eugene Dadi's miserable spell at Perth Glory is over.

The French striker, who has been at odds with coach Dave Mitchell, has been released by the club and flew to New Zealand yesterday to join A-League rivals Wellington Phoenix.

Dadi was a popular figure with fans last season and finished the campaign as the club's equal top scorer alongside Nikita Rukavytsya with 10 goals.

But the 36-year-old has found himself on the outer this season following a disappointing loan move to Swiss Super League club FC Vaduz at the end of the last A-League campaign.

His contract with Vaduz was cut short after a bust-up with coach Pierre Littbarski, who imposed a suspension on the former Ivory Coast international before the loan deal was terminated.

Despite returning to Perth earlier than anticipated, Dadi struggled for fitness early in the season and was virtually cast aside by Mitchell, who preferred Mile Sterjovski, Branko Jelic, Victor Sikora and Jamie Harnwell in attacking positions.

Dadi, who made six appearances for the club this season and started just three times, refused to talk to The West Australian yesterday.

Mitchell was to offer him a Glory lifeline with a starting role in the club's Boxing Day outing against Newcastle Jets but Dadi pulled out of the match because of a stomach bug.

After Glory handed the Jets a 4-0 thrashing, Mitchell revealed a rival club had expressed an interest in signing Dadi and indicated the striker could soon be on his way out of Glory.

Glory deputy chairman Lui Giuliani said the club did not want to stand in Dadi's way and agreed to mutually terminate his contract.

"It's fair to say Eugene has had limited opportunities this season and he wanted a commitment beyond this year," Giuliani said. "That's not something the club could guarantee him and we wouldn't want to inhibit him from having opportunities which go beyond this year."

Meanwhile, former Scottish Premier League midfielder Steven McGarry is expected to train with Glory this week. McGarry, 30, spent four years with Motherwell but has been released and is hoping to impress Mitchell in a bid to start a new chapter in a professional career which started at St Mirren.

He was a second-half substitute in Motherwell's 1-0 loss to Hearts in Edinburgh on December 30 but that was his first SPL appearance of the season.

McGarry played 110 games for Motherwell and scored only four times after being signed from Scottish first division side Ross County in January 2006.

Former Glory defender Dino Djulbic should start training with Gold Coast United this week after a disappointing spell in Germany."

No problems having Dadi at the Phoenix for the rest of the year. We absolutely have to have striker coverage for the remaining games. Greenacre has apparently recovered enough to play this weekend but there must still be a question about weather he is 100%.

Shame we did not have Dadi on board all season instead of Chen. Greeancre would have been heaps more affective if he had had a big guy like Dadi beside him with Ifill wider.

36 is old but there are still players playing in high levels in Europe who are still going well in their mid 30's(especially in Italy). A lot depends on how well the player has looked after their body and what sort of mental attitude they bring to the game and training.

Dadi wont be doing a lot of running for the Phoenix. Last year he looked great in scoring 10 for an average perth side. If he is fit and motivated he will be a useful aquisition for the Nix. plus he will be a crowd favourite...great personality. He will probably need to get rid of the dreadlocks....with the Wellington wind he would be in danger of getting beaten to death by his own hair!!!!!!!

If he's only here for the rest of the season, would that mean he'd be on a 'dreadlock holiday'

Groan!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

As Hampster has said in another thread. Dadi left the year Greeny arrived so they never had a combo.

Well I suppose Foal30, stripes and all the other neo-anarchists will be happy - they can form a fan club for Dadism.

I think it's pretty much a certainty. I'm excited, the stars are aligning people.

        A SOLID BRICK WALL

            Superman

Bertos      Caceres      Ifill
       Dadi        Greenacre

^^^^8-0 vs. New bling please.

so this part of the article doesn''t confirm it " Dadi Quits Glory For PhoenixEXCLUSIVE: Eugene Dadi has quit Perth Glory to join Wellington Phoenix after being frustrated by coach Dave Mitchell's reluctance to play him in the senior side this season.

obviously you know best homer  I think that if it wasnt the case that surely 442 would have to cover there asses and throw in the term allegedly at least once
