I saw him at the pre-season vs Melbourne in Queenstown, where he had a good game at left back.
The following week he played against the Mainland XI as a midfielder and did well too.

He scored an awesome goal for the AWs from a free kick vs Vanuatu.

Mully's problem is that he gets played in positions that he's not a specialist at.  He's a mid but in the three Phoenix appearances he made (as well at confeds cup i think) he was played in a position he can play but not play well.

There must be a reason that he has played more English league games then anyone else from NZ after all.

Oh yeah, pardon my ignorance but who is "Parties All The Time"?

disco_mart - the ajority of those english league appearances were at right back, he has plenty of experience in the position.

From my limited viewing of the league roundup over here right back in league two pretty much do two things.  Kick lumps out of tricky wingers and knock long balls into the corners or to a big target man.  Maybe he's been found out when asked to do a bit more?   He did play a lot in league 2, the standard of football is pretty mixed

you haven't seen the Bury fullbacks - they are constantly doing bicycle kicks and nutmegging opposition players.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

I agree with the League 2 comments but he has also played a significant amount of L1 games where you quickly get found out playing like that.
