Stop embarrassing yourself. If you actually listened to it, that quote is from Nat and is in reference to how exciting it is getting to play games at home.

I was referring to the title, not the content. Nat is doing an excellent job as a coach and I hope that as many as possible attend not just this first game, but the rest of their home games. You would not believe the efforts they have been putting in at training. It's awesome.

No, expensive car parking, rip off food and beverage prices. The only good thing about the stadium is that few people can make a lot of noise and it rolls around quite nicely. If it wasn't for the Black Caps doing well in the early 90's and the wrong anticipation that they were going to be successful for several years to come, the proper design should have been square with rounded corners and a roof for Rugby, League & Football. Concerts too would have been better.

Pushing to fill it for one dayer cricket, T20, Rugby - They got about 3,500 at the NPC Semi Final. When the stadium was first built, for the first 4 years there was a waiting list for Season Tickets and the place was full. Now, you buy the cheapest ticket you can and sit wherever you like. What has gone wrong with the dream?? PRICING.
Business will always be ahead of entertainment ;)

Omg yes about Harper - it’s not a lot of commentators. It is Harper and it was Slater.
“We’ll, look excuse me, for mine, if that’s a xyz I’m a roast dinner…yawn, waffle, bad take, bad take, drown everything out…”
Enjoyed the cup and some of the other commentary. But wish they’d left that stir up controversy crap at FOX.

How are you listening to it? There is a few ways you can access the pod and maybe depending on that is if you can download it. I know if you have spotify premium, you can download to listen offline.

Thanks again for the podcast, but disappointed that there wasn't much criticism of the team (perhaps it was in Dave's corrupted audio?).

Tracey asked the question "If not now, then when do we start to criticise the team?" - one of her strongest questions yet.
But nobody answered it.

Maybe the pod needs to bring in a contrary voice to spark more discussion?

Appreciate your work though; it is great to have the podcast.

Good to hear the team getting stuck into the women's squad results.
Unfortunately they lost another game since then.
The formation change suggested sounds like a good plan.

Crumbs. You make it sound like Silverlake is much more involved in the running of the league than any club.
I thought this was supposed to be a Premier League model where the clubs are right in charge.
Such a facepalm. What a Mickey Mouse idea.

10/10 pod.
Tanix is a 2/10 play on words though. Let's not make that a thing.

Nice pod!

The only thing I would say is that it was very unfortunate the way the decisions and particularly the series of contestable decisions appeared to crescendo to the benefit of one side. The worst decisions were all well inside the final quarter of the game. For the fans and even neutrals who were aware of the context there was an effect from this and could easily have been an impression gained…

Appreciate the effort team, do you think there's anyway you could include time stamps in the notes for the various major topics, eg Phoenix Women, Phoenix Men, General A League, National League etc.
There are some topics I'm not that keen on and would love to be able go straight to the ones I'm interested in.
Thanks again...
