Yes you do need to check them in Patrick.
Last week with the Brazilian flags we were stopped by Red badge on Fran Wilde Walk near where the ramps to the train plaforms join. They actually would not let us continue walking down Fran Wilde Walk initially. They said poles of over 1 metre were forbidden under stadium rules.
I said: "We have got pre-approval from both the club and the stadium to have both these flags and flag poles of 1.8 metres. David Dome the Phoenix Marketing manager has organised to have them let in with the head of red badge security."
They said wait here for a minute and we will call our supervisor, and then they said, okay, you're cleared... go to the gate on the right hand side of the fence and they will let your flags through.
I have organised with David Dome for it to work the same way this week.
So, you MIGHT get stopped by Red Badge on Fran Wilde Walk. If you do just tell them that David Dome, Phonenix Marketing Manager has organised for flags and banners to be let in. Then when you get to the gates you have to give them your flags(s)/Banner(s) at the right hand end like with the yellow fever flags. Then you got through the turnstiles like nornal, and collect your flag(s)/Banners once you are through.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.
