Huge dilemma

Friday is a Black out the Heart/Adelaide game but:

Last time I wore stripey we lost to FFA FC (will be the closest I get to wearing black)Last time I wore sexy white away (2012-14 season) we beat RoarAm expecting the Shorty St Tees to arrive in the next day or two

What to wear?

No shortland st tees yet and we did win with the away strip so that will be my attire, plus beanie and scarf.  May go old school and bring along the flags.

Vuvuzelas?

I got my Vinnie tee and my black #SavetheNix tee today.
I'll be sporting the new black number to the game

Bring flags. Do it.

Oh No, Domey just on TV news this morning saying they want 15k for Friday night. Yeah right, we can encourage all we like but 15k on a Friday night? I'd love it but I am predicting about 6,300. I am starting to think conspiracey theories with the dates and times of our fixtures. Couldn't be on at worse days or times. Off season tinkering by FFA officials to ensure we fail?

10,000 would be an endorsement of our "call to arms". Mix that in with warmer weather, families and a Sunday kick-off and we could be back to the +10,000 days. Indeed when you look back over the stats (not using the word metrics), crouds are linked to performances if you ignore the novelty of the first season.

anytime the game's on, people say the low croWd is because of that time

That's what I've noticed.

Unless it's mid-week or stormy, don't think there is any excuse.

Good that we're going to have a big croud this time though - just hope we perform.

So we sold approx. 1,300 tickets between 9am and 3pm today? Promising.

LETS FUKKIN WIN THIS THING!!!!!!

No use getting the croud in and then playing like shark. Win, and win well, get the casual punters enjoying themselves and they might just come back

Maybe that is something for the Nix to consider - facilitating 'meet-up' type arrangement for setting up car pooling and the like. Something on the Nix website possibly or on the YF one?

I'd like to see someone list our results in front of crouds over 10,000

For some reason I always remember them ending badly except for that finals run early on with Ifill netting the winner.

At last, football again to talk about.

Tonight is a night that will live in infamy (in South Australia).

People will speak in hushed tones, and refer to it as "Sarpong Night" from now on.

Roly and Roy will have something to say too.

THE Prediction is back!

We are going to kick their pansy asses all the way back to Adelaide!

ALWAYS Remember beloved-

We are the Mighty Phoenix! We can beat anybody!

See you there....

Nostalgia isnt what it used to be...........
