Can we sign an injury replacement who is a striker and not count it towards the cap?

It was more an unrealistic hope than a genuine option.

That would be awesome, one of my favourite strikers in the world. Jarrod Smith would be a good option too if he isn't trailing. It would be a good time for him to start playing for us with the Transfer window coming up.

Its pretty far fetched but with it being off season in the states he could be keen for a run, the club should approach him. He could even potentially pull people to watch since hes pretty well known. Won't happen though.

But he is going to Everton I think in Jan so he might just wait till then.

what about dickinson from auckland city? only just watched him from the world club comp but he seems pretty handy?    is he actually any good  ?

Can't believe people were still doubting his influence on the team before he got injured. He's possibly our most important player going forward because he plays in the likes of Ifill and Leo. Without him, we're aimless. We have no focal point - everyone is just lazing about on the wings.

This is a huge blow to the team. What the hell is going on with all these injuries ? :/

Like the last two weeks we have been missing from the park and the main contributor is the hard work of greeny. It seems that all the mids are trying to cross it in but there is no striker to dral with it

has done a good job there over last few games. 4-5-1 is a waste of time and ifill always drops back to midfield anyways. Loss of greeny is huge. same team as last night next week, dont feel confident about adelaide now

Exactly, we need someone at the pointy end, and for me, Costa is our best option there, even if he isn't exactly an out and out centre-forward.

Very bad news about Greenacre. We barely looked like scoring last night and I can't see how this will change for the next game if we persist with Ifill up front on his own.
