I'm coming from out of town (flights and accom booked) for the 2 Nov game v Auckland, any idea when those tickets will go on sale to non-members?

Do they normally go on sale a month before the league starts?  Anyway I have my cynical hat on today and I don't think you'll be in danger of missing out on a ticket.

In other news, OPPO have a dealio on, I just brought myself an OPPO Pad Neo  for $338.56, what a bargain!

We’re stoked to see OPPO return to support the club for another season in what promises to be our biggest season yet. This is the fourth year the Nix have been backed by OPPO and to say thanks for your ongoing support as a member, the team at OPPO have a sweet deal to share!

Wellington Phoenix members can score 20% OFF RRP on any OPPO products. PLUS, for the first 50 members who purchase a smartphone, you’ll get a pair of OPPO Air3 Pro Wireless Buds worth $279 totally free

This is good from Auckland FC, the Nix should be doing the same

Where do you buy away tickets for Auckland games though? I see no place on their ticketing site to buy an away ticket ...

I’ve messaged the Nix to ask, hopefully they respond 🤞

Edit: they responded, no word on when away tickets will be available yet

I'll just be wearing a nix shirt in general admission like most people im guessing. Id be very surprised if Auckland supporters outnumber us in the first few seasons

Was just about to make a thread for the December 7th match for this specific reason. Thank you for the update.

Just in the process of booking accommodation etc to get ahead of the inevitable price increases as we get closer to the holiday season. 😅

If anyone is looking to come up from New Plymouth as well, feel free to get in touch. Was looking to fly up, but I hate not having a car, and a flight + rental car works out to be more than what it would cost for me just to drive up anyway.

Neither club seems to want to answer this question at the moment bloody annoying for those trying to plan.

Yeah it's a real pain in the ass, especially as the away game in Auckland is a birthday gift, so I've essentially taken over the planning for it.

I'm hopeful I will receive another gift in lieu of taking over the logistics of said away trip to Auckland, but I remain doubtful that will happen. 😂

I bought a 3 game pass expecting to give me the same seats. There was no other option but to purchase one seat yet I still got assigned different seats for all the games.
Emailed ticketek and they changed it for me to seats that were available for all 3 games.

Good to know, I’ll likely be doing the same.

the luxury of three quarters empty stadium is you can sit where you want no matter what your allocated seat was.

Out of interest thought i would take a look at a price comparison with Fridays Lions finals game.
$25 to buy a ticket on line
Even more interesting is this from the stadium about carparking.
Bunnings NPC - $17 online / $20 at the gate
Tickets for the Nix game on the 20th
Cheapest silver at $30 and up to $80
Parking $35 or if your a member and buy on line $24

Not sure what the walk up price is.

Just dont get why the Stadium Trust chooses to rip Phoenix fans off when it comes to carparking. May not mean much to some of you but when you have mobility issues adding either $24 or $35 every game to costs makes the day out expensive from the start.

I can't see it in my emails from the club, so maybe they haven't sent it out yet. Maybe it will be in the membership packs with other discount codes?

I didn't receive an email from the Club on that date. Wonder if its a difference between Silver and Fever/Gold membership benefits again?

Need to see if Fenix got an email that date

Yeah I got that email on 26th Sept and I just have the 'Club' membership so maybe it went to your junk folder? Less than 30 days ago so it may still be in there

Dont quote me but think cheaper carparking goes to club members. Think for some reason it was changed this year as i said think thats the reason not sure.

Wtf? You may be right. So club membership is something different to season ticket membership?   When did this come about, I've not seen anything that says parking discounts aren't available to season ticket holders,as has been the case for years.

Yep think club membership was on top of a season pass.Thats the only thing i can think of as im a club member as well as being a season pass holder.
Just had a look at the club website only category carparking discount is mentioned is is club membership.

I've just looked at the WP site, and I think you are right.
So the Season Silver Pass I've bought under the "membership" options apparently isn't club membership! Well, that was as clear as mud!

What a complete con. I've always bought a discounted car park ticket, for every year they have had them, for every mens and women's game.
I might just go and watch the women in Porirua then, stuff them and the stadium. They can keep their $35 parking.

Totally get where your coming from unfortunately the club didnt make it very clear. Not sure i understand why you cant get discounted carparking if you have paid out for a season pass.
Just more evidence of how badly Phoenix fans are treated when it comes to carparking.
Even more galling when you see what NPC fans pay for parking.

This is what I received in email this week.
Pretty much brackets club members and Season Pass members together.
I'm significantly unimpressed if I'm not getting a car park discount, and that's an understatement. So,it looks like the "exclusive member only discounts" mentioned don't include car parking  - for the first time this year!
I don't want discounts on piss poor OPPO phones, I want things that will benefit my match day experience.  Well if I'm not there this year, they will know why. $35 for parking  will be a lot more than I've paid for my bloody ticket!

This is what it says on the club website about membership. Agree about the change it sucks.
Club Membership Off-Field Benefits:

  • Free early access to digital match day programmes.
  • Priority access to event invites.
  • Voting rights to end of season awards.
  • An exclusive Club Member keyring.
  • Discounts with club partners.

Plus, if you are coming along to the games, you’ll enjoy:

  • VIP entry to home matches to skip the queues.
  • Discounted car parking at Sky Stadium.
  • 15% off additional tickets to Wellington home matches.
  • Presale access to purchasing Wellington Phoenix match tickets in the final series, where possible.

When you look at it the Phoenix havnt rarely thought about it. Why give reduced parking to members some of whom probably brought membership because they cant attend games.
While they have removed it from those people who have paid for a season pass to me just nuts.

Sometimes things shouldnt all just be about trying to wring the most out of your fans though.

Think discount parking should be for all those who have paid for a full season pass. Just find this sort of petty stuff really frustrating from the Phoenix. On one hand they do some really good stuff then they do something like this and you just shake your head and say why.
