not much movement overnight sunday 7.00pm hopefully trade me can keep up with everyone trying to bid also with everytime you bid in last minute of bidding the auction will extend by 2 minutes meaning a lot of auctions will overlap not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

i will not be watching any a league on sunday night will be chasing a shirt

Why did Smith wear a long sleeve but the photo of the one supposedly for sale, hung up in the changing room, is short sleeved??

Someone said here only Smith wore longs - but the Daniel photo from the game (displayed in the auction) shows long sleeves? The Daniel auction doesn't have a photo of the shirt hung up in the change room like most of the rest so that one is unclear.

I only mentioned it because I know some here wanted that Smith shirt specifically because of the sleeves... would be a little disappointing for them if it sleeves were cut short...

also if there are long and short sleeved one's that means more than 20 were made which should make the price come down i doubt it will though.

was me who was keenish on a long sleeve, not that rich tho :) Asked on tm anyway. Deffo wasn't a skin/undershirt gameday

If you watch this video, you will see at the end that when they are trying them on in the changing room, they are all long sleeve versions. Seems only Smith and Daniel wore them so what happened to them and Smith and Daniels short sleeve versions?

I guess the shirts would lose some of their value if they wern't unique, and the bidding wouldn't be as high.

Ok which one of you complained about the courier charge being $10 instead of "$6 or $7" for a $700 shirt?

i was not complaining just pointing out the courier fees were a little steep i do this with anyone on trade me that charges extra for couriers also at the time i had no idea the cost of the shirts would go so high.they also have a pick up option that i would use anyhow.holeinone2012-02-05 13:52:14

i see someone new has entered the bidding he is leading several auctions over the $700.00 mark and also trying for ifills he is either a very wealthy person or a troll trying to muck up the auction process i am hoping he is just a rich guy then i do not mind at all but if he is just someone trying to muck up the auctions i would be a little pissed off
also i do not think i will be paying $600.00 hopeing to pick one up a little cheaper but do not think that will happen will have to settle for a picture of the shirt a little gutted as i wanted to add to my phoenix player shirt collection.

Taking it all a bit too seriously maybe? Doesn't matter to me how people bid as long as they are going to stump up the cash if they win.

I don't believe there is any "artificial inflating" of the auctions to be concerned about. They are all going to go for a lot more than they are sitting at right now and these kinds of bids happen on all kinds of auctions, charity or not. Ultimately if someone is prepared to bid higher they will.

yes i realise that, i am not saying it is artificially inflating the auction.
i have seen this on trade me in the past where people make false bids with no intention of paying them and the auction closes and trade me then have to sort out who actually won the auction and what the price should be.

as i said if he actually has the cash to stump up i do not mind at all.
