sounds good mate. does this mean that Season Pass holders get preferential treatment i.e. the chance of purchasing a ticket before the general public?

hmm. tough buying for a group to sit together if you can only get four together, then 8 somewhere close by. Good pricing I think. Up a little but not too much.

Up to 16 tickets for us!  We may well get to be very popular for a week or two (unless I suggest that they pay for the tickets!).

14th is Member sales. So that would be the 4 ticket limit.
16th is the 8 ticket limit.

So.. 14th is your first chance.

I reckon that should we get a home playoff, there should be a number of people there - maybe even 25-30k?

We have someone who comes with us to the games, but sits in a different section during the game. They are members just as we are. How hard would you say it would be to swap our seats so we are sitting together?

Logic to me says not very hard at all, but rules may be rules and all...

Hmmm...I've been in the Yellow Fever zone all season but now I might miss out on getting there for the semi as I don't think I actually know any season ticket holders to get me a ticket!

It's an FFA thing, if you are registered at an Australian club (an club) as a player, or a member of an A-League team, or actively involved in Australian soccer, you are registered with the FFA as part of the 'football family'. Otherwise, if you have a legitimate case, you apply on line to join the 'Football Family'.

FFA Football Family membrs get first crack at Socceroos games (home and away) and FFA 'special events'.

We usually get an email once a month from the FFA updating us on special deals and when tickets for important matches and events are coming up.

Hope that helps explain it.

I do get e-mail newsletters sometimes from the FFA / A-League but I can't actually remember signing up for anything...haven't had anything regarding these tickets though.

Does it say anything about the right to have a first option for your regular seats, or is it a free for all on any seats?

Yeah, this is probably a better way of asking, rather than my garbled mess.

Also, if the letter came from Australia, I wonder if the prices are quoted in AUD or NZD?

I may give the clooob a ring after 9 to clarify  .. altho I am a little nervous about anything to do with 'assuming'  we will host a home semi ...

Anyone any idea what time we're likely to kick-off?

Everything is in NZ Dollars.
And it says nothing about the seats.

I just typed out exactly what was in the letter. (That was important)

Just got an email about this from Phoenix ... no doubt others will too. Details still being finalised, gives various options if we make home semi etc. Seems v similar to Stefan's.

Sure is one hell of a good feeling though...seeing the e-mail and knowing we're in the playoffs!

To answer one of my own questions, there doesn't seem to be a priority option to purchase your 'regular' seats .. the email indicates that it will be 'first in first served.' But that's not really a biggie, compared to just being in the play offs --- and hopefully at home!

I must admit. It wasn't addressed to me, It was for my mate.
I bought his season pass for him so his posting address is here.

He may have got it because I didn't register an email address with his name..

(I opened it because I thought it could be a joint thing because we have the same registration (Or something) number)

There was also a part of me thinking..

This better not be about him winning a trip to one of the finals games.

My season ticket is through my brother - I'll have to hit him up about the letter.

Having given the Nix management thoroughly deserved sh*t for the insane, disrespectful, insulting, traitorous, mercenary............ (you guessed it - not at all happy about it) talk of taking home games away from the RoF next season and, to add insult to injury, to Dorkland of all places, I want to give credit to them for thinking of our older citizens with the pricing for play-off tickets.

Pensioners, along with students and children are considered "concession". The saving on a silver ticket is $15 which may not sound a lot but for pensioners it matters. My parents are season ticket holders both in their 70s and I know they will appreciate the consideration.

I suspect it is a FFA rather than Nix initiative because the Nix no longer give concession season ticket pricing to pensioners (existing members yes, new members no). Hopefully this will change for next season - anyway, whoevers initiative it is, well done.

I have 3 season tickets under one membership number as I organised them for my bro and mate. Does that mean I can purchase 4 or 12 tickets?
