After reading the responses to my comment I had to laugh,  no one seems to know how you say it. I went off what I heard on the radio and I have probably gotten it wrong.  Great for the sponsor when no one can say you brand name.

As long as you spell it properly does it really matter? They also made a satirical video when they first joined where the players tried to pronounce it so they get it

Central Coast and Wellington matches will feature safe smoke after their stadiums agreed to trial controlled flare releases from the stands.

Most controversially, there will be music played with accompanying video during goal kicks, corners and substitutions.

Safe smoke for CCM and us? Yellow must have been on sale.

If those old wankers from last season who stole Pat's drum sticks were annoyed by percussion, I can only imagine how fudgeed off they'll be by safe smoke. Fun times ahead in the fever zone

Why do we need smoke again?

Whilst we give Patrick shark for his drumming expertise, at least he is trying to make an effort. If the fun police were not so stuck up, we could bring in a few more drums etc to add to it. My mode of choice is a football rattle, designed specifically for making noise at football games. Sadly Westpac Stadium Trust along with Red Badge, do not understand or know of this invention or  concept.

Not keen on the idea of music being played during goal kicks, corners etc.  What is this, cricket?

It's another feeble attempt by the FFA to make the HAL something it very patently is not. Yet.

The music thing is ridiculous, if I wanted to listen to music I wouldn't be paying to see a football match. Honestly who are these fudgewits, do they think a football match is a disco?

I'm reminded of going to Victory games, with North and South end at full voice, but being unable to hear the chants because the latest RedFoo banger is blasting over the PA system. The fudgeing worst.

Facebook is alive with this stupid idea and it appears most fans also think it is a stupid idea. For my 2 cents worth, leave the music to the cricket and the egg ball games. Leave football alone. I like to feel and hear the atmosphere increase as more fans enter a ground. If I want music I'll stay in my car and listen to the radio.

Let's have chairleaders and jets flying overhead with smoke trails. I also think a Mr Whippy cart driving around inside the fencline by the stands and away from the pitch would be a goody..... and a Lazer show everytime a goal is scored...and canned applause to help with the atmosphere.

Done well, some smoke can work a treat. Attended semi final (2nd leg) of Primera A league Colombia in Medellin, earlier this year. They had a bunch of folk ring the field and release dry ice from canisters. No H&S issues there.

Stadium only half full, but pretty awesome atmosphere, and a shark load of fun.

However playing loud music is a very dumb idea. It mostly ruins sports events for me. Doesn't go with football at all.

Drums are great fun - let the fans make their own music. Not some lame arse DJ who has no idea about the game.

How about a half time circus act on the middle of the pitch?? Jugglers and a couple of horses and Dumbo flying around. We could play the music to Monty Python at Halftime too. Is this where the FFA really want to go? I hope not.

Mind you if they brought in another crossbar challenge, that would be cool! For some reason, that appeals to me.

Probably for the best. We'd only get people wailing about how our music should be all Kiwi artists and asking why we're playing songs by overseas artists at the games.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Only music I want to here is "Ring of Fire" as the players come out onto the pitch and only for about 30 seconds, let the crowd to the rest.

Will that pump the players up though? It's a cute song, which everyone can sing and enjoy, but maybe if we have certain sections of this song going then the younger players might be more hyped to play! As much as I like rock music and usually hate techno stuff, this could be cool.

(For the record, I like it where she sings... Not that first line, not the "drop", but the main singing parts could work)
