Thanks goodness for that. I don't think we could handle a drunk abusive Vader shooting everyone down ;)

#InTheZone V106 is out and available from www.yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

A heavily sick pod gather to discuss Wellington Phoenix FC's latest trashing at the hand of Newcastle Jets and the happenings from the latest #FeverTour. Elsewhere the Young Football Ferns bow out of the U17 Women's World Cup with a solidarity point, Waitakere United clear the decks, and will Tommy Smith choose a holiday over the All Whites

Quality chat as always

On the topic of our mid field and how it hasn't changed since last year. If it was lia not reira who was injured we could have a completely new combination. Carlos, ridenton/manny and reira. And potentially for the first time our mid field could be one of the more dangerous outfits in the league. think its just the (un)luck of the draw tgat carlos and reira have been injured.

And I can't see carlos leaving in the off season, but he does need a attitude adjustment

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Yeah I must admit I am surprised that there is conjecture about Carlos leaving. I think Stein is gone with the Krishna signing (which still baffles me) but I think Carlos will play his 2 years and then what ever happens, happens.

Grumpy old bastard alert

Is it just me and this hotel in Jakarta thinking this podcast is pornography or is anyone else having problems playing it?

That statement says more about your frame of mind rather than the podcast itself.

Two years on and #InTheZone V107 is out at www.yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

The pod turns two, and in true toddler style, gets angsty at another home loss by Wellington Phoenix FC, before looking towards the prospect of two EPL sides coming to Wellington. And local football kicks off this weekend in the capital.

Instances such as Kosta returning from Greece are measures for the strength and intentions of the club.

Good pod, some intelligent discussion in that first 20. Well until Boxy says penetrate the box and you can hear the giggles begin. Classic.

Thomas played in that Cup win for Zwolle.

Quite right. When I was hastily putting it together it looks like I only checked league games for some reason, and then recalled the cup game on the spot.

#InTheZone V108 is out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts

As the Phoenix officially bow out of playoff reckoning and instead look a chance for another wooden spoon, the pods reluctantly looks back at another loss to Sydney including diving, mud baths and News' tantrum. Elsewhere New Zealand Football's issues are aired for all to see, the O-league kicks off, as does the opening round of the Central and Premier leagues in Wellington.

You trying to play it from the web? Podomatic doesn't seem to like some web browsers. You should be able to download it by clicking through to iTunes webpage.

I vaguely recall some mention of Ballane in a podcast - but that was a while ago.

I haven't listened for ages (due my speculated death) - listened last night but did fall asleep several times so not really sure what was covered apart from News having to be kazooed several times

I think we joked about him having his own lounge or something, in the new stadium. Or in the new mezz lounge at the current stadium. I forget. Anyway, if I've said something very offensive I will of course apologise. The Phoenix, and the Fever, need all fans of all sorts and all types.

If I recall you gave him shit over the app fever card - which he had no way of accessing due to his technology at the time. New old phone. He was bashed about a bit over it. (Was not $ of card related) I offered him a double priced program. (He accepted a free program when he introduced himself) So it could go back that far and then continued on in a pod by line for a while.

May be total wrong here but got broad shoulders.

Wow...what a cheery bunch the Pod were this week!

They are probably reflecting the general malaise inflicting all Nix supporters at the moment.  Looking back to a year ago whats different to now?....SFA. We are once again at the bottom of the table  and NZF is still a clusterf**k. I feel I have just wasted 12 months of my footballing life.

Clutching at any positives at least the Nix played some really lovely football this season and I think we have the right coach. Everything else is up for debate

Why is the Phoenix reserve side situation to taboo for a Pod-cast chat?. You guys have been avoiding it like the plague. 108 speaks about our squad and how thin it is, But avoided why it is that way.

Step up and flop it out for 109. (plz)
