#InTheZone V115 is out, and is in far better quality than last week. Check it out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

The pod licks it wounds after blowing out at the Football Fans Downunder Awards to chat random bits of Wellington Phoenix FC news, World Cup Groups C and D, and Friday's All Whites' (A) fixture against South Africa (A). The impending long weekend signifies Chatham Cup round 2 so the pod continues its coverage by talking to Laurance Guetta from Stokes Valley FC and Murray Ralfs from Burwood AFC.

News' comments re Japanese players I don't think is entirely accurate, especially considering the names he dropped. Nagatomo 131 games in 4 seasons for Inter and Uchida 127 games in 4 seasons for S04. The guys playing in the BDL are there on merit.

Just a bit of positive feedback lads. Great pod, world cup section's a good addition, especially the fact off! (Do you listen to Hauraki Breakfast fact factor by chance?) And any/all chat about Chatham Cup is brilliant.

Yes I nicked that idea (sort of) from Fact Factor.

Jeremy Wells is my hero and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery etc etc.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

A massive #InTheZone V116 is out. Check it out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

Without any Phoenix news in sight, the pod jumps straight into part 3 of the World Cup preview to cover groups E and F. Back home, the next generation All Whites draw with South Africa, Darren Bazeley dials in to chat the Junior All Whites' tour to China, and there is plenty of intrigue and drama across the country in Chatham Cup action.

Ribery at 31 is ancient, Inler is getting on at 29, but Duff is a good signing?

Literally squawked with laughter at Smiff's Prince of Persia line.

If you're over 30 the only thing you are good for is A-league marquee/guest stints (at any club other than ours).

Fucking deal with it.

Switzerland does have some up and coming talent. Drmic was third top goal scorer in the BDL even though he was playing for now relegated Nürnberg and Rodriguez, Xhaka and Mehmedi have had good seasons in the BDL. Rodriguez could probably be considered one of the best LB talents in World Football.

Just commenting as I'm listening. Re the Austrian/German team of the 1930s, the Austrian team was on the wane by the time and in fact the German team, dubbed the 'Breslau-Elf', was one of the form teams in world football going undefeated in 1937 winning 10/11 games.

check out#InTheZone V117 at www.yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

As the world counts down to the opening FIFA World Cup match, the pod discusses the signing/non-signing of Michael McGlinchey and scans the 2014/15 fixture list before previewing World Cup Groups G and H. Elsewhere, the U20s complete their tour of China, and Island Bay United Association Football Club's Martin Garcia talks about their 3rd Round Chatham Cup clash.

I have had no interactions with Carlsberg. Unlike the Phoenix who are embroiled in a beer-for-sponsorship saga. It's undemocratic.

#InTheZone V119 is out. Check it out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

The pods brushes aside sleep deprivation to wrap the latest in World Cup action as some big names already have fallen, or are about to fall, by the wayside. Back home Wellington Phoenix FC have started preseason with their first kick about, and the team previews the Chatham Cup round of 16 featuring interviews with Island Bay United Association Football Club and Ngongotaha AFC.
