As an aside, why no Patrick and Wilso? I see they are 'moderators'. Are they not part of YF or am I missing something. I find their posts to be relatively common sensical so would they not add to it or is that too many folk and opinion to put into an hour

If we had Patrick in the pod I'd be irritated the whole time that he wasn't coding improvements to the app/website. Wasted hour.

Wilso we have tried to entice but he has been reluctant, and has now returned to Engerland.

Patrick made a guest appearance once. He was mainly rubbish.

And we only have 4 mics.

To be fair, I wanted to get back to eating the amazing Backbencher canapes at the time.

But I'll take that as a compliment, better than being totally rubbish ;)

Season ticket holder, one of the great unwashed ..plenty with opinions on this forum could be given some airtime.

We all have opinions, but a lot of them are really quite uninteresting

Great pod - I've listened to and abandoned a few a-league podcasts and in the zone is definitely one of the better ones.

Enjoy the interviews with opposition fans as well, a good addition.

As far as real fans go, being a westham fan he surely means someone who follows a team on the other side of the world that has little or no connection to them even though they have a local team which happens to have a 100% winning record against their lauded London based club.

To be fair to LeSinge - he has quite a big connection to West Ham. You can use that argument against a lot of Eurosnobs, but not him.

I did mean it as a positive comment but see that it may not have been taken that way.

I was taking the piss at eurosnobs in general not LeSinge in particular.

On a serious note, I did think about doing a 'know you zoners' section where I'd interview someone in the zone at halftime. But it would have required to be sober so I flagged it.

Sobriety is overrated, there is much potential for hilarious there.

Interesting as I don't particularly like the segment from the opposition and have skipped past the last two in part due to the sound quality of the fan interview which has been pretty average...

It's a bloody good podcast though - you guys do a great job.

Unless he played for them or coached them, he has no better connection to them than any other person who likes to flog a dead horse......

Horseshit.

That's demonstrably not true.

There are dozens of ways someone could CLEARLY have a better connection to them than someone who likes to flog a dead horse without having played for or coached them.

You could have been a season ticket holder for a number of years, and grown up going to the club's games.

You could have volunteered and/or worked for the club as something other than a coach - physio, ticket booth staff, groundsman, usher, president of the supporters club etc.

You could have been an owner.

You could have been a sponsor.

You could have been a member of or organiser a fan supporters group

You could have run or contributed to a fan zine or blog

You could have been one of the unusual above and beyond the norm fans travelling to the clubs away games all over the country and Europe (and else where).

What a complete crock.

On reflection I'm actually going to upgrade this to go get f**ked. At least we are trying to increase interest in the ASBP. There is only so much we can cover in a week. There is only so much we can do from Wellington.

What the f**k do you do except come on here and talk shit. You aren't even trying. There isn't anything stopping you from doing a ASBP podcast and posting it on.

Don't like what we do? Then go do it better yourself. We'd probably even publicse it.

#YFSpendup to send a team of journalists around the country to cover each ASBP game so that FU BLU will be happy.

Have to say that the YF podcast is one of the best ones going around regarding the A -league. Its just like being at the pub listening to peoples opinions about football and to be fair the guys always seem to be on the mark when it comes to talking about all the matters regarding the Nix and others.
