#InTheZone 151 is out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

The A-league is back, and Phoenix captain Andrew Durante pops into Fever studios for a chat. Tim Palmer from Australia Scout also joins the pod to review our season so far, while Ben Clark provides a Brisbane Roar perspective on this week's figure. The All Whites U17s have qualified for the World Cup so coach Jose Figueira reflects on their campaign, while back home, Team Wellington retain their lead at the top of the ASB Premiership.

Halfway through this - very enjoyable.

Swollen head time for the elite: This off-season has been pants but the podcasts have made it bearable (corporate, management, player perspectives of the club).

Kudos lads!

No special guests this week so temper your expectations accordingly.

FYI  Drogba was signed when Shenhua was under the ownership of Zhu Jun - who was more hands on than Gareth in a cattery.  He had a track record for not paying players on time (a sort of Terry on roids).

Since Jan 2014 Shenhua is now owned by Greenland Group so Cahill will be paid on time I'm guessing!

Not sure where the right place for this one is but just listened to the OFC podcast with GGW - a good listen. Have you guys thought about him for a guest stint? As a broadcaster, football pundit and OFC head of media, there is a lot to work with considering his many different hats.

Another good podcast guys. Really enjoy hearing the opposing fan views. It's cool that they seem to be fairly objective in their views and not just rabid supporters.

GGW knows more than the whole pod combined.

We've had him on a couple of times. Think mainly before the the O-league to talk about some of the other team. Hope to do it again.

Pretty hard to be anything other for WSW fans at the moment.

‪#‎InTheZone‬ 153 is out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.

Without a good coffee or hot chocolate in sight, the pod is back to chat the Wellington Phoenix FC encountering a bump in the road to A-league glory in Penrith, other A-league action, and all of the Fever plans this weekend. Elsewhere, the U20 World draw is complete, the ASB Premiership trucks on, and the burgers are on us thanks to BurgerFuel

Further to my suggestion about Dura. He scored 1 goal in 100 games before he joined the Phoenix. Going to suggest he isn't a great attacking headerer.

2001–2003 Sydney Olympic 53 (1)
2003–2004 Parramatta Power 5 (0)
2004 Balestier Khalsa 8 (0)
2005–2008 Newcastle Jets 40 (0)

Just had a quick glimp of the most potent CB in HAL. Muscat is, but all but three of his goals were penalties. Zwaanswijk has the best. 11 goals (inc one pen) in 87 games. So Dura and Siggy would nee to be on 20 goals to have his strike rate.

Does help that our strikers have never been good either. Ifill Smeltz, Greenacre, Brockie. There no other threats so easy to mark Dura and Siggy.

Cited must be in trouble goal keeping wise if they are hoping Flappy will be back for them

to be fair, Leo took our corners for years. He has made weemacs look positively pinpoint

That is GROSSLY unfair!

I would postulate that Leo's corners were the most accurate corners of any corner taker in the history of the game. He found the first defender EVERY SINGLE TIME. It didn't matter where our players ran to, the ball unerringly found the head, chest or boot of the first defender.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Smeltz can head a ball.

Doesn't Dura's pre-nix record indicate it's not just the delivery? Trying to dig out Siggy's ASBP record.
