We seem to loss to the bunnies - CCM, Newcastle and QLD and get results against the traditional big teams,  Perth, Adelaide, Melb and Syd

this is immensly frustrating to watch because we are creating opportunities but there is something not quite there and its hard to put your finger on

calling perth one of the big teams is a bit far fetched, 2nd to bottom last year and cake this year. ccm top of the table this year and newcastle do look alirght at times

Traditionally Perth are the most successful football team (I include the old NSL)

yea ive been saying for a while now that not just the phoenix but the a league in general has a problem with players being to scared to really pull the trigger and we r certainly a good example of it

difficult to play quick balls into space if players don't know each other,

playing catch up with a defender who you know is struggling leaves players in two minds about whether to make an atacking run into space

elrich has faded

etc, etc

ype frustating,

but well get there

Is the score still 2 - 0?

Felipe (15) and Ferrante (14) have the most shots from our team. Marcinho has the most with 39. But that's not many at all.

ferrante has that many? oh thats sad, i may not be a great analyst of the game but i still hav to wonder what ricki sees in him, maybe if he was playing in a less attacking role...... what an odd way to end the game

Referee is a cock, I can't believe he called fulltime when the ball was in the freaking 6 YARD BOX!

Utter crap. Also, how did Elrich play for Fulham, rather disappointing from him IMO

Hilarious.  Tarek Elrich has just said that Ahmed looks "a bit overweight."

Genius.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

In the melee apparently. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the ref was just too scared to give the goal.

A-League referees. What the hell is going on?

Permalink Permalink
over 18 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Wtf happened at the end there?
See what happens when you concede early on. We can't afford to keep on going a goal down or even worse two down because we can't just expect to always finish strongly and come back every game.

In saying that though we were missing 3 key players today which made life hard for us. We just have to work harder on our finishing in training this week that's all.

Three for me, and two for them.
