What is my membership number? Is it the Account number? If so, what do the people with the other season tickets on my account do? Can we order seperately, or will we only get one go at buying tickets at membership rate?

ok no-one has explained, what is an overseas pre-sale?? do members not get the chance to purchase tix tommorow?

Overseas fans are to use the web for now. For Phoenix members you need to call Ticketek direct.

I am a season holder, never got no password

You need to call Ticketek direct not via the Web

"The number you have called is unavailable from your location" Is that the message everyone is getting from calling 0800 TICKETEK?

0800 number isn't available from a cell phone, try from a landline or else the 04 3843840 number

OK - so incase anyone reads this far down the thread :)

The missus got our tickets just now over the phone.  We have a group of season ticket holders that she was going to sort out tickets for (bless 'er) but ran into one snag - she could only buy tickets for the two of us + full price tickets because you can only buy for your account number (the 4 digit number n the back of you card "ACC NO")

just something to keep in mind if you you're doing other season ticket holders a favour this morning.

Im not a complete idiot, some parts are missing!

Yeah, I was about the same.

Bit worried about Ticketek though, the guy didn't seem to know much about the Adelaide game...Said he is going to have to send it through to someone???

Thought id just wait and see...surley they can't get it wrong again???

Got mine for me the wife and 14 others, the poor guy at Ticetek sounded like he had had a hard day but on theplus side he knoew what he was doing.

Interesting thing was that even though I brought 2 Gold tickets for the Saturday game they could not seat these people in the gold section for the Adelaide game as they said they were all sold out which is a bit off I think.

Sounds like the demand is high and with luck the Friday game will have 20,000 or so.

Don't forget those seats will be used by gold phoenix members on Friday

We couldn't get a ticket for a non-season ticket friend in the gold zone for the Adelaide game...there seemed to be plenty of spare seats yesterday so obviously not all taken up by season ticket holders...must be loads of people going...

The Gold tickets for Beckham are only for the Beckham game, the free ticket for Adelaide is Silver. Then again, depending on how many actually turn up for the Adelaide game you can always move around. I sat in one of those Gold seats yesterday cos there was no-one there.

Who in wellington would be willing to get me 2 tickets???Don't mind sitting uncovered on aisle 24 side. Or Cvered n Aisle 13 side....Pretty please. Only if you haven't already got your 8 tickets..

I hope they don't seel out before public get to buy them as there are so many pre allocated seats as mentioned on the ticketek web page.

I would buy a season pass myself but am missing a couple of the other games as I am away :(

Drove past ticketek today, no line there so would of been pretty fast if you showed up to get your tickets

Just got my Becks ticket, plus a couple for my parents neighbours hehe - asked for aisle 24 and they said there's only uncovered seating left in that zone.  Got some in aisle 30 instead (they're sit downers) but considering there's only been 1/2 a day of season ticket holder only sales, its awesome that some of the aisles are already selling out.

Get in quick IMO.

the girl at my booking said its asking me do you want to go to the adelaide game and i said yes, she said she clicked NO because i already get it with my season ticket, does anyone think this will be a mess up or do you think i should still get my seat for adelaide?
Permalink Permalink

Hey 07, you should still get a ticket to the alelaide game . So overall you should get la galaxy ticket, alelaide ticket plus your season pass which gets you an alelaide seat as well. So you can give your other alelaide ticket to a friend or whatever.

kazza - she said she pressed the NO button to the ticket and i was worried coz i thought that meant my seat was away for that game, didnt know you had to get another ticket.

You don't get an extra ticket to the Adelaide game if you are a season ticket holder.  You get your normal place in the stand and admittance as usual with your season pass.
You had the option to purchase extra tickets for friends for the Galaxy game - and they have the option of tickets for the Adelaide game on the Friday night.

I stood in the queue at MFC ticketek for 20 mins while the 2 staff there bumbled their way through the people in front of me - there was mass confusion regarding the Adelaide game, seating, prices, season ticket allowances, seat numbers for both games etc etc.

I started chanting "You don't know what you're doing, You don't know what you're doing" at the staff with my croaky half voice from yesterday....GOLD!

I just went to the Holiday Shoppe in Porirua no line at all
when you show your season ticket or account number there is the option to purchase "season ticket holder LA Galaxy game" which is the discounted ticket
the other options were for non season ticket purchases (both games or just the Galaxy game)

She showed me the yellow fever zone and there were loads of tickets
we purchased our normal seats

the one down at the mfc is useless the workers in there have no clue, when i went it took them over 20 min for one order pretty pathetic and overall ticketek is a sh*t organization as we have already reliesed the season .

Just ordered mine over the phone.
The guy started out explaining how there are two ticket prices (silver - $65, gold - $82) and I asked for my regular seat (in FZ) only to be told that will be $82+$8.
When I pointed out that FZ is actually silver he realised he'd made a mistake and changed it.. very odd, I would have thought that when they entered in the seat number into their system it would have just told them what the price should be. :S

Got mine! None of my mates can afford to come with me (no student discount! LAME!), so I can take my shirt off without getting sh*t about it the next day.

... did I say that out loud? I meant "None of my mates can afford to come, so I'll have to make more friends at the BB before the match"

No need to SHOUT. We can hear you just fine!

Yes: $82.50 is the silver price and gets you into both games. That is the price you would take if you are not a season ticket holder. Non-season ticket holders can not pre-purchase. The general sale commences 11 October at 9am.

Yeah, don't think any of my uni mates will be going either.

Meet you at the BB Robb!

Managed to get our tickets earlier today. Should come as no surprise that ticketek have not covered themselves in glory... again.

You know, I have been lucky enough to get to World Cup Finals, Grand Prixs and other major events, and getting tickets for all of them has been easier than getting my season tickets for the Phoenix, not to mention the mess around just to get tickets for a one-off friendly against Galaxy.

I've said before, if football fans are going to be reduced to being customers rather than supporters, then a bit of decent customer service wouldn't go a miss...

Just rang Ticketek tw*ts to get 5 tickets, 2 on season passes plus 3 extras.

BUT, because I had got individual names put on the season passes the guy wouldn't give me the season pass price for both tickets unless he was able to talk to the other season pass holder. I asked him if I hadn't got individual names would I have to do that and he said no.

I told him that the other pass holder wasn't available (my bro's in Oz) but I had bought both tickets together so what was the problem. He wouldn't budge. I asked him if we could get the extra money back when my brother got back and could confirm that the ticket is for him and he said we would have to email in and ask but he couldn't guarantee anything.

About that point I hung up.

Malky - I'd try again if I was you. You'll get a different rep and you might get a different result. Worth a shot anyway?

I've heard a few other people have been charged Gold rates for the FZ (including Robb above).

Anyone else had this problem?
Might be a good idea to check in case you didn't noticed this.
