Nah, prefer a draw. If you draw then other teams drawing is a good thing.

I want to see us keep scoring goals, because looking at that table, I think Goal Difference is going to be importantArd Righ2010-08-16 09:20:33

Fourth it is, with a game in hand. Not bad at all... for now.
Permalink Permalink

regardless of if it ends up 3rd or forth we will have a game in hand over everyone above us.
Then its just the 'simple' matter of continuing to win when they have their byes.

Despite having played only two games, we have the same amount of points as Melbourne Victory and Heart, and Sydney combined, who together have played nine games. I like this.

could be a great season for the nix if sydney keep underperforming !! can anyone advise how the roar looked this weekend??

Brisbane looked very impressive and out of all the teams in the league probably look the best so far. Still struggle finishing but the way they press players is very good - it's actually quite similar to how we try and play but I think they do it a little better at this stage.

brisbane's intensity and workrate was v impressive last night. they concede some size and physicality (e.g. opting for Kosta over Heinaldo) but it gives them great mobility. they just harrass constantly and move around off the ball really well.
such a contrast to the power game they used to play with Heinaldo and Van Dyk up front

That's true, especially considering that the Victory were getting record crowds a few years ago to give the A-League some credibility. Credibility which allowed the Phoenix to enter the competition a year later.

Great to see you showing some appreciation el grapadura.
