Me too.

Anyway - in this case I am seeing a glass a quarter full.

We will bounce back and stomp the Furries on Friday.

Gold Coast got a crowd of 2 037 for that game.  Such a joke.

I couldn't believe there were 5.5k there at AAMI yesterday. I know it's notoriously tricky to tell but from my totally unscientific head count there were way less than that.

Re the table, our position exactly reflects our quality so far: utterly average.

We're 6th and have barely got out of 1st gear....that sounds pretty decent to me.

Yes 40 home games now for a record of 19 wins, 14 draws and just 7 losses. 68 goals for, 36 against.

The Ring of Fire is a fortress indeed.

As poor as we've been, we're in an alright place at roughly the quarter-mark of the season.

We haven't had a very settled line-up - which has contributed to our average to poor performances. I still think we haven't seen the best of the Phoenix this season.

Apart from Adelaide and Sydney its pretty close, especially considering that Brisbane and Gold Coast still having a couple of games in hand (I know it will only be one game after the weekend). A couple of wins/losses could change the whole picture!

Last season it was pretty tight as well. I think there was a week or two when gaps started to appear but then quickly closed up after another round or two.

This season it's a bit more patchy because of the byes, but I think it will close up again by mid way.

Love the table!

Man, hope someone beats Adelaide, they are looking good indeed.

So hard to follow the table when you see teams with 6 games played, and others with 8.

But being towards the top of the table with teams to catch up is where we need to be.

When are Gold Coast due for a mid-week game?Ard Righ2010-09-25 14:48:50

Not looking forward to our trip to Hindmarsh this year, where we usually play badly anyway.

(not repeated for space saving reasons)

Consistent with earlier table and previous seasons, around 1.8 to make top two and 1.33 to make top 6.
These should be our two targets.

I know, I know, its serious!
