I've said it once, and I'll say it again, the Vultures are circling us! Jets up to 5th.  TBH if this is how the table looked at the end of the season I would be happy.

so very true. A very, very tight competition. We had a great run (hopefully to recommence tonight) and some great results going our way. Changes to either or both really hurt at this stage of the season.

CCM and Brisbane can do us a massive favour this week by winning their matches.  We just have to win.  Simple.  I'm a bit concerned that we've not found the back of the net in our last 2 outtings.  COYN

we'll be right. hoping for the win- we need it.but think a 1-1 draw most likely- followed by a great run of form seeing us pick up points in every game through to the playoffs.

although that could the last of the Emmerson's "North by North" talking . . .

Hope Roar beat Perth.....don't care if top two move ahead. We want 3rd....chance of two home playoff games. Perth to lose and then we beat GC by a big score to up our GD and then we are sitting good for the run in to seasons end.

Thanks for the update.
Back in 3rd now, .  But second place is looking a bit out of reach.  A win against NFU - who look to be playing slightly better with 2 straight draws -  would almost assure a playoff spot.

Its funny looking at Melbourne's column. 23 games and only beaten 7 times. You'd swear that's a really good stat line until you see the 11 draws....

CCM win please

It's usually us who are the draw masters, but this season we've only got 3.

Next week, although we can't take our grrr rrrrivals lightly,
We want 7!

It still makes me sick that 2 of their 5 wins are against us.  Hope we don't make it a clean sweep for them when we play them on the 16th.

Perth losing and Victory drawing are two wonderful results for us. We have had some very favourable results go our way in the last month.....long may it continue. Need a big win agaisnt GC to up our goal difference....could be very important in the end. 40 points was meant to be enough to get us at least 4th.....win against GC and then a draw is enough. But I think we can look at at least 43....which could be enough for 3rd.

Want that 3rd so bad. Two possible playoffs at the ROF would be so so good!

Want one more result to go our way - CCM beat the Jam Tards today.

Huge result for us last night in Sydney which makes our playoff hopes look much brighter.

Another thing to consider is that if CCM keep clear of Brisbane heading into the last round they might just keep their powder dry for the finals by not playing to their potential in their last game of the season ;)

This
CCM have ACL games as well before the seasons end.,...hopefully they are 4+ points clear as they go into the last game as decide to rest many of their first team. I have a feeling that last home game is going to be very important for us.
