We play them in two weeks too. Could be there for the taking if they play like they did against Perth.
Be interested in people's thoughts on how many points people think we would have had by now. For me, would have expected to beat Perth and draw with WSW at home. And draw with one of CCM or Jets away. So for me, we are probably a couple of points ahead of where I thought we'd be.
Perhaps also now we are a third of the way through how do people think we will continue?
Will Perth fall away, will Citeh or Roar gain their mojo and kick on at our expense?
Barring injuries I think we will claim 4th (Bling match will be a good indicator) and may even challenge for 3rd if Perth or Adelaide slip up. Can't see the Tards losing ground however.

I reckon those two draws at Hutt Rec have hurt us. Having said that so has losing at home to Sydney and Victory. I'm very grumpy

All joking aside, this season has gotten away from us now. It was fun while it lasted.

We were targetting to make the finals, then to make top four and for awhile we thought we might challenge for top dog.
I think our season is where Ernie thought we would be - maybe even a bit better. We just need to keep the focus on trying to win the remaining games to give us the best chance for the finals.

Perth will lose points so we'll either be 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Not bad for a team that was 9th last year.
I predicted us to be 7th pre season. Many in Australia had us pegged for the spoon. Either way we are in a good position going into next season.

Oddly enough, even when you are trying to be serious nufc, its still hilarious. The top spot may have gotten away on us but again, we are still in the hunt and we will make the playoffs so explain how this has all gotten away from us?

Yeah, i'm still pretty happy. Our expectations were probably a bit too high after the run we had; Ernie has maintained that making top 4 was the goal. Feel like we need to win next week to get the momentum going again more than anything though.
