At least that is probably the best 3 teams out of the way, time to start racking up the points ...

Ok it's on.

A straight out grudge season vs CCM.

Loser needs to get out of the league or transfer their best players.

Now there's a race with 24 games still to go.

They have a solid squad but are probably playing at their peak currently, whilst we have a lot of improvement in us (hopefully)

We have the third best defensive record :)

not bad considering we've played the three highest scoring teams.

not bad for a team who apparently have no defenders.

No, they scored bugger all against us compared to other teams. We actually got away quite lightly, Sydney scored 8 goals in 2 games, Perth scored 6 goals in their other 2 games, and CIty put 4 past Victory and has a squad worth 9 million.

Considering the team looked fatigued and disinterested in Perth and half our starting lineup was missing against City this was really our first proper game and we were not outclassed by the top team in the competition, in fact you could say we were dominant in every facet except the one that counts.

I agree with the above and am sure we'll see better results soon, as long as we don't have any season-ending injuries.

If there is one area I am prone to paranoia is that I see other teams getting away with murder on the field against us while falling over like cut pine as soon as our players are near. Here is where an experienced referee, cool under pressure, makes a real difference.

We can rule out top 3 on current results. Yet against Sydney, I saw a lot of stuff that looked like we are making progress. It is just the lack of end product..

I see your "rule out top 3" and raise you one..at least. ;>)

The strikers are going to have to find form real quick or the gap just gets wider.  While I would like to think we can do an Adelaide I don't see the promise there to do that.

Away to MV - Home to NJ - Away to CCM

9 points for the taking, 6 is minimum

The Jets lost a couple of good players through bad injury (Kantarovski, Kennedy).

If we can't get all 3 points against them playing at home then we should not be playing in this league.

True story. I go one step further and include CCM also. Hence 6 pts is minimum :)

Would be nice to get 3 of the 6 tonight!

From the way things are currently going, we won't need to worry about Feverbot nor the Nix ever again.

I miss the 2009/2010 season - 2 play off matches, 1 sell out. Paul Ifill, Chris Greenacre.  6-0 against Gold Coast United.  Those were the days.
