Everything this last weekend that could not have gone in our favour did exactly that. 3 scores from second place, now 5 points.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Roar climb from 7% to 8.3% with that win against us.

Thanks for this interesting set of stats RR.  It is uncanny how similar we look to both the Victory and the Bitumens in this graph.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I mean, they're objective facts, so it's not just you.

Not as much reason to fear losing because of lack of relegation.

Yeah, there was a quote from Heskey about the league just after he left and it was something along the lines of teams have a suicidal tendency to attack.

no risk if you lose - so it makes sense that you chase the win.

0-0 draw between City and Perth isn't a bad result for us going into a bye next week. Doesn't look like anyone is catching Sydney so neither team getting away from us from this game is good.

Perfect set of results I'd say.  City (having played one game more) and Perth within striking distance, a decent 5 point gap from 4th-7th and Victory are kept at arms length way back in 8th, which I'm not gunna lie, brings a smile to my face.

Now to roll Perth in the West next week and all will be good in the world (of football).
