This week? I thought they would have already been right on the salary cap. Is there a guest player rule or something?

"With Sydney's loan danger Michael Bridges now gone, it's possible the Sky Blues may move to sign Colosimo on a temporary contract to cover for the injured Michael Enfield for the finals before making the move permanent next season."

It seems pretty certain Leo is coming to Wellington.

"Colosimo has been linked with a move to Sydney FC for some time, while in its media release Glory says Bertos is expected to join Wellington Phoenix."

I think that Glory stating so in their media release makes it pretty certain.

Why? Give us some reasons.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Ok Bob, we get the point, you don't rate Bertos! so rather than harping on about it hows about letting it go, and the rest of us will thank the Gods that you are not picking our team!

Queenslander 3x a year.

A NZ international with a proven record in the English lower leagues and the A-League, hmmm, I don't think so somehow. Have you heard of George?

the Phoenix has already got its fair share of nz players and the best of the pick already in lochead, smeltz and moss including young talent in their. new zealand football lets face it is a few light years away from some of the talent australia has yet we keep bringing in sh*t nz players. last year was the time sign if any they didnt SO 2nd year we got to built a decent squad with decent players bertos is NOT a decent player with 1 goal and 2 assists in over 1000 minutes of football this year.

Under-rated and the man was never given a good chance in his proper position.

He would be a good signing. Might not start every match, but would at least be on the bench every game due to his versatility. Can play on the left, right and up front as shown in the AW game against Vanautu. Has pace to stretch the defence and can beat players with the ball at his feet not just with pace.

Would wait till we release a media release confirming the transfer, but looks certain. There is a spot on the squad so could be snapped up quickly or will be signed when contract negotiations are sorted with current players which seems will be taking place in March.

"There are also six players (Ross Aloisi, Richard Johnson, Vince Lia, Kristian Rees, Ahmad Elrich and Felipe) whose contracts are up in June.

Decisions on those players will not be made till after they return from their annual leave, which begins next week and ends on March 3."
