Lots of nerves coming into this game. I always have some as the first of the season but with the challenge the team faces this season, they are ranked up a bit 
For me, there is a really big question mark over whether or not the middle of this team can compete. We know Lewis is good with someone who runs hard next to him, which Rufer doesn't. And we know that Payne is good and I think Laws will be, but do their abilities cover each other's weaknesses? not sure. But I cant wait to back the boys and find out!!

I watched the other games this weekend. We have nothing to fear. Everyone was rather average tbh.

Graphic has named Lewis as captain. Think that's at least the second time they've mis-captained someone in Round 1. When you add on the errors that have already happened, it's hardly a roaring start to the season there...

Anyone catch that Clayton Lewis had the C next to his name in the lineup graphic and not Rufer. Surely a mistake on the broadcasters part and not a last minute switcheroo, right?

Great to see the new broadcaster can't even get our captain right.  Had Lewis down in that role.  Hope it's not signs of things to come.

Commentator just advised tha taley was rudans assistant coach at Wellington before taking over when rudan left. Today I learnt..
