Assuming Davila is heading to the Bulls next season, it would seem that the Bulls' players have no idea about it, Davila has been hit all game.
Red card!!!!! overreaction by the VAR.
Red card!!!!! overreaction by the VAR.
To be fair at least VAR has been consistant...

I thought studs contact was always supposed to be a red card?

Yep. Similar to Rufer's red.
Macathur do play some tidy football.
Man, so many games we dropped a point or two when a win or draw seemed a fair result.

Frustrating how far we could have gone this year.
lol, won’t miss FOX. Clear studs in knee: “yellow, yeh yellow he pulled his leg away there”
Which is exactly what Davila did and the Mac guy didn’t.
Man how good is Hemed! Feel he’s on 65% tonight and he’s got a goal and an assist.

lol. If he did that at Eden park social media would of gone mad saying Davila should of taken it.

Stop saying Waine was a find imo. We’ve known about him for ages and he’s a product of hard work by him and the coaches!

Between this and last week this is the one i figured we would struggle with.

Real question: is that the 1st time we've scored against a 10-man opposition?

3-0 is a nice way to finish the season.
11/12 unbeaten. Just a shame one or to of those draws hadnt been won.

Only club in the A League to have 4 players each scoring 5 or more goals. Hemed 12, Davilla 7 Waine 7, Ball 6.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

First off, I'm pretty fudgeed up off the after work beers, so please excuse any mistakes and over-enthusiasm within this post.
Oh for that penalty to have gone in against the Glory!
It would have been quite the achievement to reach the top 6 after completing 24/26 games in traditionally barren territory across the Tasman, but in saying that, 7th feels very hollow indeed, almost done like the seasons end crept up on us 1-2 games short..... 11 unbeaten (club record I believe) to finish the season, and you can bet your bottom $$$ that all teams will be happy to not be facing us in the finals series.
Regardless, of the outcome, I'm always proud of the boys and the sacrifices that have been made this year. Onwards and upwards for next season ❤️🟡⚫
COYN!!!! ❤️

And Sotirio on 4 with the 4th that big goal against Perth.

I think another positive to take from this season is another season done with a similar squad from the previous season and looks to continue next season which we haven't had in a while and keeping the same manager. If we pick up a few good transfers we'll be very much fighting at the top i reckon next season.

Hemed now iwth the nix record for most consecutive goal scoring games. Scored in his last 5, the guy is a beast
Annual finals disappointment enthusiast.

Got the biggest laugh from Hemed's failed pen since Eugene Dadi's shocker all those years ago. Not that I like us missing pens but it did help dampen the pain of Davila's miss v Perth knowing that Hemed may well have made a mess of it too.
Great finish from Waine at the end, real poacher's instinct. Can't wait to see how he develops next season.

Interesting to see Jason Pine on the Fox coverage as comments man, and heavily involved with both HT and post FT analysis. Nice to see.
Bozza really is in love with the Nix now! Quite the crush.

Another entertaining game but it sucks to miss the playoffs by only one point. Big “ifs” of the season. If, Taylor had been there from game one we would not have leaked so many goals in the first half of the season. If, we had a normal season playing at home we would be top three IMO.
FANTASTIC effort from the whole team to play so well under such difficult circumstances. Big thanks to Welnix for once again putting their hands into their wallets to make it all work. Really excited that Uffie will be there next season. If we can hold onto the bulk of this squad then things look very bright.

Was a no-brainer: Piney was in AUS for the Paramount (?) discussions anyway, and it was nice to have him involved. They made it feel as if he was always part of the commentary team, sounded so natural.
And yes, just like everyone at FOX, Bozza can have polarising opinions. This season however he has been full of praise for how we played. It was nice to hear his effusive comments that he'd miss watching The Nix in the finals.
Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Couple of games to go (four, but two that could make a difference), and it looks like we will finish this A League season with the 3rd best goals for, and the third or third equal goal difference. And finish 7th.
One more goal at the right time, like that pen, and we'd finish 3rd, or 4th.
That assumes SydvBris is a draw or Syd win. CCM get ahead of us if they beat WU.
Been a wild, exciting season. So many close games. Ultimately didn't get what we probably deserved, but great entertainment.
Thanks to Welnix. Thanks to Ufuk and the players. Thanks to the back office staff and Domey for making a challenging, I'm sure, season work administratively.
Been a good one. Touch wood for next year.

What a great game to finish the season, the intricate passing, the chips, back heel assists, a red card and a penalty, two poacher goals and the relaxed smiles after each of goals. Looked the boys played just for the fun of it. Loved every minute.
Yes, we are not in the finals but we have the most likable team, biggest crowds and we played the most entertaining football (I may forgot some sharkty games) in the League. It’s looking bright to build on this for the next season

Might be a good guy for Ufuk to bring in next season and run some penalty taking master-classes with the squad.

I enjoyed the game against macarthur a lot more than I thought I would. For a change the nerves weren't strung out, so could just sit back and enjoy the football.
Well done Nix. Proud.

Good game, good commentary team, lots of action and even controversy. And nothing on the line for either team.
First time in my memory I saw us fluff a penalty and I did not hit the roof but chuckled instead. Like Bozza said, "give it to Tim Payne!"

Part of me thinks, wants it to be that Tomer did it on purpose to make Uli feel better. That would be such an amazing thing if true.
Feel a bit cheated because this team really could have won this. We’re playing such amazing football. MacArthur shown up today. Shshether should be banned for maliciously kicking out like that. Days you wish Manny or Jon McKain was around. Bally struggling with a knee injury. What a bunch of hacks.
Yeh fark we have been playing great stuff, are on a record run and I’m really feeling cheated not to be able to watch this team play more this season. Great year boys!
