Half a Pint
Surely this 3rd shirt next season would have to just be the home shirt with the other sponsor on it (the Women's home shirt in other words) otherwise it wouldn't have made a difference to the chch game problem this season - if they had a 3rd shirt that was white or blue or anything other than yellow, CCM would've still worn their yellow home, and the problem would still exist.

The easiest solution really would be to not make a home game against CCM as one of the games for the other sponsor, make it a game against a team that doesn't wear yellow.
No the home strip is the yellow stripey, stand to be corrected but that 2nd home strip is consigned to the bin. The way i understood it the other 2 strips will be away kits and from what i have heard one could be something different hopefully.

If the big secret that the spoilsports on here are so jealously guarding is a Wellington Phoenix charter school then I gotta say I'm rather disappointed the Nix are getting involved in Seymour's charter school nonsense. Everyone who isn't an idiot knows charter school policies are just an attempt get the ball rolling towards the complete privatisation of education. That's the end goal here. Imagine if you had complete losers like Nix ownership/management in charge of your child's learning. Fortunately in the news this week it seems like there are extremely few expressions of interest thus far in starting charter schools.

If it was multi choice, and the question was 'who was a loser'?

A) Rob Morrison
B) Anonymous poster on this Forum

I'd hedge my bets and plump for answer B)

Could the big secret, be an update on the mooted relationship between the Nix/Wellington City and Chinese Super League team Tianjin Jinmen Tiger FC?
Was some buzz about that last year post the 2023 WWC, but it's all gone quiet since then it seems.

history of bringing players from outside the region, both men and women, and settling them here and with school for those applicable (as well as covid years based in Aus) has shown a decent degree of pastoral care from the club. In fact right now is a job listing to help with that (and likely related to the charter proposal):

FFS talk about trying to make something out of nothing. No one was sworn to secrecy Dome asked before hand that Chatham House rules applied. They mentioned something at a members meeting that they wanted to announce them selves at a later date.
So some on here get bitter and twisted because those Members that attended have chosen to honor what they were asked to do.
There is no super big secret yet some have chosen to make some friggen stupid statements about what it could be.
The way some of you carry on about the effort put in by Rob and others to keep us running is frankly pathetic and seems that some would be happy if we just disappeared.
Dont kid yourselves there arnt people lining up to plough millions in like the Welnix guys have. They walk away and there probably isnt a Phoenix so is that what some of you moaners would prefer.
And for the record i friggen hate whats happened this season and some of the crap thats gone on but no way am i turning on those who have worked so dam hard to keep us viable.

I dont take whats written on here and social media seriously. My mistake for good or bad is when the Phoenix were formed i brought in at being there at the formation of a football club.
In the last 17 years we have been through some shark and some attempts to remove us from the competition. So it really grinds my gears when i see so much negativity.
Its also not helped at all with Auckland Bling coming in and smashing it in their 1st season while the Phoenix seem to have seriously under estimated them. Not at all helped either by the typical Auckland arrogance and shark house behavior of many of their fan base.
Shark its going to be along off season might have to hibernate.

Yep, that was it - they started the session with a short video message from him but then asked that it not leave the room until the announcement.

I know there are mixed opinions about Piper here but I still think it’s some much-needed good news after a pretty lousy week.

Agreed, that was some welcome respite from the continual negativity surrounding the club at the moment.
