Great performances from most the squad for me.
North, Manny and Rojas all shone for me

I went for Rojas but North was awesome for us at the back today

Muscat was top notch for me today.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Brown for me. A hand in three of the four goals.

Rojas, for setting the game on fire, beating the opposition, sending in delightful crosses.

Rojas, easy. North was huge, same with Brown, Greenie and BigMac.

But a superb performance by everyone bar Hearfield and Bertos.

I don't think hearfield was that bad to be fair. Never really troubled and is confident with ball at feet.

Just that one hiccup in the box where he misjudged a header.

hearfield played ok, you gotta give him some credit, he started with the nix as an attacking midfielder, edned up playing right back and doing ok, now he's been asked to cover LB and RB...sure he gets beaten at times but his pace makes up for it....Lia on the otherhand is a mystery as to why he gets 90 every week, no first touch, can't pass, always looking back to his own goal.....struggles more often than not to make any qualtity contribution to the game.

Rojas by a whisker (not sure he can grow them yet ) from Manny The Man Muscat.

It was such a great 'team performance' it almost seems unfair to have a MoM.

I though Hearfield was okay, but Bertos doesn't look like he's enjoying himself much these days.

I voted for Manny.

Good allround performance  from the team generally with Sigmund, Rojas, North and Muscat standouts for me.
Rojas for MOM  as his darting runs, positive attacking style and mostly accurate crosses and passes created chances and galvanised the team (and crowd!) into action.

To be fair both played well for most of the time this game.Once the 3 goal buffer was established  the whole team played with much more confidence and it showed.
I agree though Prof, Hearfield has had to be versatile playing all over the place and is found wanting sometimes.
Also agree, you're on the mark about Vince Lia. No doubt about his commitment and enthusiasm but would love to see the stat ( if it existed), of number of passes turned over directly to the opposition.
He'd be right up there, if not the worst.

Rojas was a standout as were Manny & North. I thought D Mac was pretty good, he was fairly useless most of the time the ball went to him, but the Jets didn't know what to do with him and he created confusion within their defence in the box.

isn't it always manny? north had a blinder, marco was great entertainment, down town tim brown!  leave vince alone he broke up their play all day and that is why he is in the team and the only reason hearfield looked ok was because the ball never came anywhere near him. i thought that when ifill was carried off we had to start playing football rather than just get the ball to him that made it hard for the jets to work out what was going on

Went with Marco but can't believe Siggy hasn't got a vote. If Jeffers had never heard about the "Ben Sigmund Facts" he certainly believes them now. Siggy owned him all game until he was subbed off.

North for me i thought he was outstanding,he at last showed something. Given how leaky we have been this season so to keep them out was no mean effort by all of them.

I voted for him. He got slated non-stop at the start of the season, but boy has he lifted his game. Mind you, the whole team played a blinder really

Love how Daniel adds incisive passing to the midfield, he should start if Bertos isn't fit.
You know we belong together...

I like how we've got forwards and wingers who run on to incisive passing! see Kosta at the Roar for well masterclass...we're doing more on the deck, more running at defenders...Rojas beating 3! Jets defenders...

Almost pains me to do so, but I went for North. I thought his performance was commanding just when it needed to be. Marco (close second), Manny and Vuko also contenders. I couldn't quite work out how, after my personal frenzy had subsided, I looked down and there was Vuko joining in the celebration for DMac's goal. Quite into it he was. Great to see.

I know, I know, its serious!

Yes I quite agree, after North's recent rather poor performances I was a definite sceptic. But last night he really turned up, and looked a lot more comfortable in his preferred CB position. I've been critical of his one on one tackling ability, but he put in some massive tackles, didn't get beaten a single time.

Really great to see and I hope that he and Durante can play together while both retaining their best form.

Haha yes, seeing Vuko run 180 odd metres (there and back) to celebrate teh 4th goal was very awesome to see.

Agree for Heafield, disagree for Bertos, love the guy but he's not been up to standard recently, whenever he received the ball instead of running at defenders or showing his pace, he held the ball up and past backwards.
The ball was promptly booted cross field to Rojas, who did the business.
Brown almost stole my vote, captained well and was awesome in general.

I thought North was outstanding. He gets my vote.

I was actually very impressed by Macallister - when he has support from that second striker he does a decent job. Had a really good tussle with Topor-Stanley all night. Deserved his goal.

Rojas was brilliant as we all know. Siggy, Manny, Timmy, all magic. Whole team.

Outstanding too see from Vuka, great passion. He really is too good for Perth.

Some of the comments re Lia seem bit harsh I though he played a top game and was the reason we dominated the mid field.

MOM - North for me thought he was outstanding.

That was a big difference that i noticed, we had players making a pass and then making a run to receive the pass again. It's something that has really been lacking all season and is one of the reasons the Roar have been so good. Great to see.

If that was one of his better games, he's obviously had some abosulute shockers then. Thought he was dreadful. Again.

MOM = North.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

The reason we dominated the midfield is because the Jets had no decent midfield to speak of

Just watching Leo play and his body language as he came off on Saturday I think his injury is purhaps worse than is being let on. He has been carrying it for a while now and its very obviously not getting better. My thoughts !!

35 goals in senior professional club career that started in 1998 - about 3 goals a season.

Great stats,those.

Rojas was excellent and has great qualities. My main worry is that he needs to toughen up. Even for a young guy he is a bit too easy to nudge off the ball and very hesitant in the tackle. Hopefully this has been identified and somebody is working on it.

can't say i saw him get bumped too often, he was beating players way too easily, pthe only time I saw him get physically muscled off the ball was when Topor-Stanley nudged him, and comparing the two guys is unfair, one is a monster the other a 63kilo kid.
