"and several other good crosses" ????????????
you must be kidding me.
as i said :
"does he practise with midgets???"
over half of his "several crosses"(and free kicks AND corners) were below the waist.
and if you think Bertos "had a very good game" based on that
you my friend have VERY LOW STANDARDS.
they're so low - it's pathetic.
I half agree with you (but not the bit about valeo having low standards). Quite a few of his crosses, corners and free kicks were poor. BUT it's all the other stuff he did which frankly won the game for us. He was the lynchpin for nearly all of our most dangerous attacks, he ran at the defence constantly and made life very difficult for them, he was all over the park, several times switching from flank to flank.
His aggression was what gave us all the momentum, and of course he provided the crucial crosses and that goal. Jeez, what more can you ask from him? He was fantastic, well worth MOM.
