I haven't enjoyed the way the team has digressed as the season has gone on. We recruited for and spent an offseason trying implement a style that got abandoned far too easily, who cares what the pundits say - results are arguably worse and, imho, the aesthetics worse. The way the defence has operated with and without the ball since Tuiloma has joined has been poor. Far too many errors technically and mentally. Some of the senior players as they have come back need to hang their head in shame. In general the team/club is far too reactive - some scrutiny on style of play, gets abandoned, a lot of injuries last season relying on youth, recruits a bunch of filler ~25-30 journeyman. That said, its generally there to see what Chiefy has been trying to do and sometimes the best coaches its not about the tactics its about mentally preparing the team and simplifying instructions so that players can implement them. I don't know what the future holds for Chiefy but he's been very likeable and I have enjoyed the various ambitious tactical approaches he's tried.
