One question, were stickied posts still stickied when you were looking at the 'Active Topics' page in the old forum?

It annoys me to see the cricket thread etc. when I'm looking at the active topics, I just want to see the active topics not the stickied ones.

Very minor gripe though, this new forum is great.

Would be very cool to have some Nix themed similes for the forum!! I could possibly volunteer some designs if people were interested..
Although not sure if itd be worth it

Hah, I'll definitely add 'em in if you make some...
I assume it would be as simple as providing a set of gifs/pngs? Animated gifs would be pretty sweet.
If I was to look at building a set - I think I'd like to get an idea of special nix themed emoticons from everyone
- for example I'm thinking of a specific disco one.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Yes, I would love to see some improved search for the forums at some point.

Pretty good upgrade by YF standards though!

Quality work there. The forum interface seems 'cleaner' too (I can't tell you why or how but it just looks it.

Will private messaging and some of the old forum features be available or is it a case of

Can someone please make a Jesus Wept emoticon based on this image:

That would save me a whole lot of typing.

If it could be animated so that the hand slowly comes up to the face that would be super.

Added search to the board - I assume you just want to search by post text/topic subject?

The old forum you could search by member also, I.e shows all posts by a certain member. Great for stalking.

Would just listing the last few posts on their user page be enough? i.e here

I can't remember quite how the search in the old forum worked but it was pretty good.

Off the top of my head it would be nice to be able to search for multiple key words within thread names and/or within actual posts. It would also be good to restrict searches by any combination of forum/sub-forum, user name, and date (from DD-MM-YYYY to DD-MM-YYYY).

So for instance, if I vaguely remember James Dean saying something arsey to Doloras about a year ago in a thread that had something to do with Terry Serepisos and I want to throw it back in his face I should be able to find it pretty quickly (in fact, that's a search that would probably find multiple results!).

Cheers!

Thanks. looks MUCH better than the last version. Well done.

The Trophy Manager sub-board, under the Football Gaming Forum, has once again disappeared in the migration (it disappeared in the original website/forum migration too, but we sucked it up and rebuilt it...). Any chance it can be recovered?

Hmmm, are you replying to that post when you're doing it? Can you give me a little more detail about exactly what happens, certainly sounds like a bug.

After typing my post up in the Sydney FC topic this morning, I hit the Preview button by the Save button (I wanted to see if I you could quote without giving a username), and instead of the preview of what I typed, that was showing.

The post I see isn't exactly what was posted in the thread either, it has a quote from patrick478 in it, that wasn't quoted in your post that it shows.
