Phoenix kit - The return of the stripe

the badge alignment is whack. And varies depending on which image you look at. Doesn’t help the HAL logo and Nix crest are different proportions and the stripes aren’t wide enough to fit each within which I think would fix some alignment issues. Apart from that a pretty decent effort from Paladin.

I can't see a banana

Don't mind the yellow shorts, the more they play the more I'll get used to it. Still love the kits

all in all I’m pretty impressed. Seems like a different shade of yellow also? Bit more banana? Less Fluro?!

Some purists argue that the ideal change strip is the reverse of your main kit, which they've done here.

It's not my favourite, but much better than some of the white kits we have had from Adidas.  Overall these are pretty good, and the replicas are only $100 which is also pretty good!

Yea, THAT is even better!! Shame they didnt black out the logo like this, doesn't clash with the yellow.  They do do this on other jerseys where Huawei is sponsor

Like the kits.  Good that the sponsor logo is not red.

Think the away top is great. Not so sure about the yellow shorts tho.

I know alot of the people here don't like the white of previous seasons. But for those 30+ temps in Aus, and if there are going to be avo games this year, black is not great, Reckon they should have a third kit with a white base.

But I suppose they do with the FFA cup kit option. Can they pull that one out if its going to be really hot and sunny ?

I'm just happy we have a sponsor still tbh, they can colour it however the fudge they want

This is probably my 2nd least favourite kit (worst was the small stripey) we've ever released, but I still don't mind it. Looks a bit like tire tracks and alignment is a bit weird, but eh. Away kit is sweet.

Disappointing go to place order for home and away shirts but sadly not all size options available would have thought they knew they would sell plenty of the bigger ones.

Dortmund-esque. I'm in love.

Yep the away kit in particular screams Borussia Dortmund. Quite a fan of the yellow shirts too. Some of the wonky features are more notable on the home shirt, but overall it's pretty good. Looks much better than what I thought.

Very happy with these strips. They'll look great on all the replays of the goals we score in them.

Seems someone has under estimated what they would need disappointing to find out they cant fill orders on the same nite the kit is releaed.

I like the away kit but agree that black might not be the best colour to choose for an Australian summer. Still, it looks good.

People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.

I like it. The kit looks readable enough from far away, but has nice details closeup.

Love that they had toned down colour of the sponsors, good stuff.

Hi ladies and gents just a retail update.

Unfortunately the limited imagery that we were sent turned out to be different from the actual away jersey that arrived yesterday afternoon and was used by the players in the kit reveal.

This is in the process of being amended for our online platform.

We were also limited in what retail stock we could get hold of to lend support to yesterdays event, We could only guarantee to supply a certain amount hence a pre sale of what we were told was coming. Those shirts have arrived today.

Regarding a re stock, we have been told that there will be a sufficient quantity of home and away shirts available to us within 2 weeks.

It is unfortunately quite common for us to be provided with wrong information on delivery schedules, so we are reluctant to over promise and under deliver.

We are confident in being fully re stocked across all sizes within 2 weeks. As soon as we are, we will push this information out.

The free name and number offering will continue up to game day.

The off field apparel is also due in 2 weeks but we are less confident in that being here for game 1.

The second tier of supporters apparel including replica jerseys, tees hoodies, caps etc is due any day and information on that will be released as soon as it arrives.

We will endeavour to keep you updated via the Football Central Facbook page and via the Welnix social media as and when we can

That's a shame. Would've loved the yellow stripes

I'd think the companies would have had a say as they wouldn't like their logos in yellow. I haven't seen Hyundai have their logo in anything but blue, black or white and likewise with Huawei.

I received a personal email from football central today thanking me for my two purchases yesterday. I really appreciated that. it wasn't part of my receipts etc, just a staff member there appreciating fans buying gear. With an attitude like that I'll be going back for another jersey or two next week - pay week.

It's the small touches like that, that gets noticed.  sincerely hope they continue with that type of customer service. It actually does make you think you are a small part in a larger Phoenix picture after all.

My birthday present arrived this morning. The black away kit is simply awesome. They've done such a great job with it. Well done Nix, Paladin and Football Central F.C on a great job. Looking forward to wearing it to the first home game on October 13. COYN!
