We seriously need the horizontal Huawei logo on our kits.. The vertical orientation is just horrible.

I actually think our sponsors logo is far too big anyway. Stick one on each sleeve. Without destroying the front of our jersies, as I reckon they could make great casual ware.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

True, but if it is necessary, it should be like the 'Sony' logo we used to have..

I would go with that too as an alternative. Yes, I appreciate they may out in a lot of money to the club but then they also insisted in the travelling circus having 2 games in Auckland. It would actually be kinda cool to have the chance to buy tops with advertising and tops without advertising and just the Club Crest and A League badge only on them

I have seen these on eBay! There are some 2014/15 kits available at the moment (even a longsleeve version!) but it's all the way in Canada, eh?

Anyway, so I've had another go at designing our kit for next season. Basically, we experimented with the pinstripes this season.. Why not experiment with the stripey? Plus, the split sash can double as an abstract map of NZ. Some inspiration was probably taken from Borussia Dortmund..

P.S. I have now realised we cannot win with the Huawei logo in any orientation.

I do prefer the kit with black backround with yellow stripes rather than how it's been the past (yellow backround/black stripes)

I feel like we've made that look our own, now.. We can't go back. Maybe we use the black base as an away, but yellow is our primary colour.

Hey guys,

So on my 14/15 home kit, there are a couple of stains on it which have been there for a good 2 years now. It looks like dirt, but it has gone right through the fabric so we don't know what it is (of course, it had to be on the yellow...). Could even be permanent marker for all I know.

Anyway I have tried removing them with a few different products, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any quick and simple methods to get rid of stains like this?

So, while we wait for any news, about anything.. What would we want in a Phoenix home kit? Primarily yellow? Primarily black? Back to simple stripes?

I would keep the primarily yellow, revert it back to the 13/14 yellow, and wouldn't mind trying 2 black stripes on the kit instead of the typical 3.

Also, using white shorts and socks more often would be amazing ?

It's a classy look, like what Colombia wear. At least bring back the white socks with the home kit for away matches. That's more like Brazil and Australia for their Asian Cup success.

I can't find it anywhere because it's a hard thing to search on the internet but I remember seeing something years ago saying that teams which wear white socks win more often. The theory about why that was was that it makes it harder for defenders to track the ball in their peripheral vision as they mark players because the ball is hard to distinguish from the sock. Or something like that. We should just match our socks to whatever colour the ball is.

I really want to see yellow shirts with purple socks now

Hmm, that's actually a pretty logical statement. It's a little harder to replicate these days as the balls have all kinds of gradients, but oh well. We'll see what adidas do!

While I brought up adidas, change the red to yellow and that is one classy kit (sorry if it's huge!!)

To be completed with white shorts and socks as well.. Beautiful.

I'm predicting a normal stripey this season. Yellow with more black stripes, adidas stripes on the sides, not the shoulders. And accompanied by the traditional black shorts and socks.

I hope just looks good ?

No of course not. This is Adidas we're talking about. This is the A-League. Not some traditional powerhouse club in one of the best leagues in the world. We'll get given this "cool" design that will appeal to the younguns (which I actually hope is awesome, as I'll be buying it regardless!)

If I had to guess, they probably would do it at the Family Day at the start of the season like they have done previously unless Fox spoils the announcement again.

If they go down Bayern's route, we might as well just use the replica kits for sale at Football Central.

I want Fenerbahce's kit. Give it to us Adidas.
