I agree. I always felt he was underated at the kingz and knights. He always worked hard, put in 100% and was consistant. I can't recall any silly errors he made at all. If my memory is right the Knights good run at the end of last year was when Tambouras came back into the starting line up? I'd take him over O'dor.

Actually Tambouras only played 4 games or so as he had a contract in Romania he had already signed.

O'Dor played in the other 3 or 4 matches under Ricki.

Tambouras is playing for Drogheda in Ireland, that's about as non-local as you can get geographically, plus he is probably contracted and would require a transfer fee which won't happen as it would be included under the cap.

I see a name mentioned in one of the articles on the front page is James Pritchett.  He used to be an okay Right windger for the Kingz but a Right back in the A-league ?

Didn't Auckland City effectively replace him with the Korean lad that trained with the Phoenix ?  I can't for the life of me understand how he keeps getting All Whites call-ups and would be disappointed if this is the Right back cover.  He's not as good as Christie to be honest, and is probably no better a Right back than Steven Old.

Auckland were playing the Korean lad in the middle of the park against AS Man Ura or whatever their called. Pritchett was at RB but he played terribly.

Sigmund would be a fantastic addition, no doubt. Tambo would also be a good addition, dont know how hes doing in Ireland.

I can't see that.  Andy is a first team regular in the MLS and I'm sure sees himself on the same path as Ryan Nelsen and good on him for giving it a lash.

But then on top of that there are 4 or 5 competitive state leagues in Aus and the rest of the world seeing as we can sign two imports.

it's probably been said already (and NZ Power can give me gyp for being to lazy to read back and check) but the disadvantage with a greater proportion  of all whites in the squad is that it adds to the disruption caused by the international games

Mully is currentely out of favour at Sc**thorpe. And is out on loan. He would be a great and attainable signing. Oughtoun is held in high regard at Columbus and is a favourite player there, not to mention a long serving clubman. Cant see him coming, not this year at least. Pistone was a rumour from the least reliable source known to man!

That latest "rumour" on the 442 website is that Chris Killen is seeking an early release from Celtic to come and play for the Nix.  A Wellington boy true, but the story seems so unlikely to me that I wouldn't be surprised if they start posting stories linking us to Ryan Nelsen and Lionel Messi next...

I can just imagine Killen, "i hate getting paid a measly $1 million a season and getting to play european football, i want a 90% paycut so i can play for the nix"
