I don't see why everyone is pointing the finger at Durante when both him AND Sigmund have not played well ( not withstanding Sigmunds goal)

I like both of them but today, they have both been dragged out of position too easily and have chased shadows and what was a settled and Phoenix strength in defense before kick off must have Ricki scratching his head about what he is going to do for options if this continues next week.

There was a massvie discussion last year about how Paston was a far superior organiser of defenses compared to Moss. Does that argument still hold weight after that inept defensive display from our back 4 and especially our two CBs?

And why did Ricky sub Hearfield, he played well, Diego and Daniel should have come into the central midfield to replace McKain and Brown.

Durante - not manning up on defense, that 3rd Newcastle goal was his to cover... he was lost f**king nowhere floundering like an arse.

We're going to leak a lot of goals with central defence... they go missing in action to often, always caught riding too far up on the midfield, and lack the pace or vision to get back for the long-ball in.

And Ricky should have sub'd people earlier in the 2nd when it was two all and the game was going nowhere. What a f**king wasted opportunity for the Phoenix all over the park. Ricky needs to pull his head out and use the bench earlier.

I said it before the game and i was unfortunately proven right. I said Ifil would be replaced and we would look to defend the last 20 because we have taken no attacking options over in te form of a striker.
