saw the highlights, was a good comeback to get to 2-2, we need to work on the defence, can someone tell me why Paston is back as the number 1 - glenn moss is a far better keeper and i think having paston in goals this season will mean more goals leaked, what you think folks?

Phoenix 07-  maybe you've just checked-in after the long off season, you're in the UK by the sounds of it.

Moss is now no 1 keeper at Melbourne Victory and btw Smeltz is with Gold Coast United.
Things have changed around here. You should check the threads.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Having just watched the A-League  highlights, I reckon the roar has more defensive problems to worry about.  THey parted like the red sea.

Gold Coast as an attacking unit>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Newcastle

There was nothing special about their goals.  Just terrible terrible defending.

So you're saying that Gold Coast isn't better as an attacking unit? Newcastle aren't good. Hoffman is a terrible player. We let Vignaroli run around and do whatever he wanted all game.

And to the above point McKain can pass when there is someone to pass to.

Moss did look decidedly average for the Victory.

McKain passes forward, but needs to shorten the length to improve the accuracy. His 30-40 yards passes were getting picked off easy as.

Yeah, but he only did those huge long balls because there was no one to pass to most of the time (though a couple he just tried to force it way too much - always went for the killer pass when it wasn't on)

A lack of movement is a big problem for us - you even see it on throw ins etc

Actually now you mention it, I did subconsciously pick up on that. Well spotted that man.
