Hey has anyone seen the Phoenix Video on Radio Sport website? its Daniel and Fred freestyling, pretty choice.

Pretty good. Would like to have seen Piney have a go...

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Not an iPod - it's a portable FM radio. The kind you get at the warehouse for $2.

If he did have an iPod - how would he charge it? How would be put music on it? I'm pretty certain he doesn't have a computer

He hasn't (come through that is).  No Siggy tomorrow.

Ahhh, thats disappointing.Presume Jon Mac will go into the back 4 , I thought Jonny Mac had really been looking very good in Midfield, had an ability to run with the ball and could beat a man with a nice bit of skill. Probably something Jonno doesn't have but im sure he will be fine.

Nah.  Dodd in to the back two, but Johnson provides bench cover for McKain to slot in to the back four.

Very daft.

Siggy will be gutted, all the other centre backs have really struggled to get their spot back once they've missed a game, wonder if the same will apply to Siggy?

Depends how Dura and Dodd go tomorrow I suppose...

No Siggy :(

Big loss IMO. I think Durante and Dodd will struggle against the big Mac.

Yeah I agree. Though I agree with someone on here who said that "You should always play your best team"

IMO Siggy is part of that best team when not injured(obviously)

Well Durante is probably our best player on paper but hasn't performed to well this season so its hard to say your best team. Do you mean based on form, reputation etc...?

Reputation, Consistency, form.

Best team overall, I guess it is kind of hard to explain..

Well Dodd should be chosen over Durante but then you have to include the fact Durante is captain and we don't know what they are like at training, who Ricki prefers... Also if it was reputation, Kwasnik should start every game.

Thats true. And as you say we don't see them at training, so we don't know...

you could see them at training if you're willing to put in the effort to find out when it's on and get there.

I'm hoping for the same lineup as last week except Dodd in for Siggy and Daniel for Ferrante. A bench of Higgins, Ferrante, Christie and Kwasnik.

At last after protracted, complex and delicate negotiations with "she-who-knows-better" I am heading down from Palmy for my first match of the season!!!!!!!! It's been a loooooooong time coming. Can't wait!! Hope to meet a few of the characters that make Yellow Fever tick. Looking forward to some lusty chanting too!!

Nice one. I'm sure you'll love it.

Unfortunately I will not be making the trip to the ROF as I had planned.

Looking to get down for the last 2 home games in January tho'.

Er, with this in mind where is the best place to get updated on the current chants? The chants thread is full of ideas without it being clear which ones are actually being used. Is there a prematch practise session at the BB?

Yes.

The ROF from about 7.15 will be your best bet for the chants

My normal practice is to get wedged in to the BB as soon as possible after I get off the plane.

Amazing the beneficial effect that several glasses of Speights has on the vocal chords!

Can't wait for this game. So glad Dodd is back too- the guy is boss! Not entirely convinced by what I've seen of Kwasnik so far (obviously), but waiting (and hoping) to be proved wrong! Phoenix 1-0 Mariners (Dodd)
