great game tonight, solid first half and strong finish. there'd better be a huge crowd in chch, 3 straight wins is a big enough build up. I reckon brown's abscence leaves a gap to play someone up front, either costa starting or caceras wih greenie on the bench. Lia and Muscat can run the mids with Leo and Ifill on the wings.

No wonder There are 600,000 Kiwis living in Oz. Mid summer and the coditions looked like they were like the UK in the last week.
I thought that that was one of the worst games we have played this season. Apart from Ready most players were crap.Fury will wonder how thet lost.
The worst were Lockhead and Brown who continues to contribute nothing except a yellow card. We will probably do a lot better next week without him.

Rubbish. Brown was one of the few decent performers in the 1st half and stood out like a beacon in the midfield in the 2nd.

Just got home from the game (and dried off) I tell you what, it was f*cking miserable, the 7700 odd crowd was a fantastic turn out for such a dreadful night. If you don't make 10k in CHCH (provided the weather is good) it will be a disappointment because I could have seen at least that plus more tonite in wellington if it wasn't the middle of Winter.
Not a great game to watch, but was a lot of noise and exciting to be at the RoF. And well, we won 3 to nothing. Good times. nothing more to say, going to have another beer.

Even the best teams have to know how to win ugly and that was ugly - the goals aside which were all finished very well - the build up for the 3rd was the move of the game.
There were a handful of players who had their worst games of the season and we got away with it.
Three points in the bank and on to Perth.

Yep, I have to say with the YF retreating up the stand, the amount of noise generated seemed to be a lot more than normal. Perhaps the roof keeps it down low.
