Seeing as their opinions are skewed and don't matter anyway, I think I will pass.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

On the red card, Sigmund should not have raised his arm and more importantly he should have realised that the ball was easily going through to the keeper.

Please don't try to justify bad refereeing decisions.

Also while Dura was a bit unprofessional it was right thing to say, he well to compose himself as he did. I don't agree that neutrals would view it that way, I think they'd be more inclined to think GERONIMOOOOOOOO is a shit.

...Forgot to mention I don't know who the ref was but he was crap definately favoured Welly only went the other way when it bleeding obvious.

...As far as the ref goes, I don't think the decisions they made were all that terrible in general.

...Cassio could get goal of the year, brilliant solo run and pass off and then takes it back and cooly scores.

...Jeronimo definitely dived but cant blame him.

My apologies I read that wrong in frustration and anger. In that moment it seemed as if the implication was that the ref was correct. Your statement is correct of course upon review..

Its not just the officials though. Yeah the red card, and yeah the offside goal, but you teach 10th graders to play for the whistle, so it has to by asked why Leo stopped and just waved his arm at the lino instead of continuing on and putting in a challenge?

Also that first goal was shite from Paston. Another one of those 'cant be arsed' type goals that we see him concede too many of. Looking at the replay the ball rolled literally 2inches from him, looks like he couldnt decide if he wanted to block it with his foot or hand so clumsily threw out both when he shouldve just smothered it.

Stupid mistakes made Geronimo looking fucking brilliant.

I know lol. Did you see that stupid roll he did after the ball went in? I was like wtf !

No way should that have finished 3-1.

Geronimo a disgrace. Can't blame Dura for telling the truth the minute after the match has ended, no time to cool off.

WTF was with the commentators. At half time spouting how well Adelaide were playing, this despite them being down 0-1, had ONE shot the whole half, behind in corners 1-4 and had not threatened our well organised defence.

First goal from a lucky deflection and not much you can do there, 2nd clear offside not given and 3rd was well worked but had Siggy been on the field (as he should have been except for a stinking low life dive) no way would Vidosic have had time and space to slide across the front of our backline like that before picking his ball to the diving scum. So, not the end of the world here chaps. Chin up. We will be there come playoffs.

I dunno.  I think my one asking for goal line technology was quite effective.

utterly disappointed, angry, sad.   Really thought we could take this one.  Steins goal was top notch.  Refs ruined the game.  Yeah agree with you mykey Welnix must be scratching their heads.

Guess there is always next game, oh wait that's against our other bogey team Melbourne Victory.  Fuck

 Dissapointing to lose like that.

Brockie should have done better with his chance at the end of the first half that Ifill fed him. Was a bit dissapointing to me

Totori surely can run faster than that when tracking back...

Siggie may get rescinded to a yellow, could have kept his hand down there tho.

Would love to think they would hand something to Geronimo like a suspension, but doubt it.

So if, and when , Siggys red card gets retrospectively rescinded because Jeronimo dived, shouldn't Jeronimo be retrospectively booked for simulation?

Rules probably don't allow for it but they should.

This is wrong. Sigmund did foul him. He wont be getting his red card rescinded because of the dive, if he does it will be because given it was a foul, it still isnt a red card.

You've clearly never been to Adelaide. Morons are a dime a dozen and just purely based on the numbers it's no surprise that a few of them have figured out how to use the internet.

For all the attacking talent in the world we have.. we actually could be pretty stuffed if waffles and Ifill end up injured at the same time.. Would be HUGE pressure on Brockie.

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

  • think Brockie should be dropped to the bench for his next game and Louis should start up front with Stein, because of his unprofessional niggling and giving away cheap yellows. What was with him throwing the guy to the ground? Just stupid play, and not expected from someone on a pro contract

Well, so much to talk about after that game!

First of all, very annoyed that we were robbed of at least a point by poor decisions.  Brockie half a yard offside for his one at most, and then their 2nd a full yard offside.  Absolute joke of a decision.  As for the red card, not quite sure where I stand...Sigmund caught out once again, and he did pull the arm, however the cynical dive from Jeronimo was just an embarrassment and he should be punished for deliberately attempting to get an opponent sent off, regardless of whether there was a foul.  Disgusting.

On the other side of things, I am worried the 'Bertos experiment' is not working.  He is not a defender and he never will be.  For that 2nd goal in particular he could've made more of an effort to get a tackle in, but was too busy worrying about claiming for offside.  The 3rd goal was similar with Bertos the closest to the player, but not getting a foot in.  As I say though, not completely his fault when he's been playing out of position.  Absolutely ridiculous that the right back problem has not been solved for so many years.

Paston - every goal seemed to almost go in the middle of the goal and I can't recall Paston even moving for any of the 3 goals!

Brockie for me is doing nowhere near enough.  Until he had that shot at the end of the first half, I'd actually forgotten he was even playing.  Fair enough a good header for the disallowed goal though, but overall he is not doing enough.  Fenton on the other side is the same since the Sydney game - hasn't been involved enough.  However, he's still extremely new to the team so it's to be expected.  Not sure at this stage he's ready to start every game.

At the end of the day it's another 0 points in Australia where we could've, and should've, got more.  I guess this time some of it was taken out of our hands though.

I dunno if it's been mentioned elsewhere but I recall Totori being called offside when he would have had a clear chance, but on the replay it looked like he'd stayed onside. It was a close call but in the context of the rest of that debacle was even more frustrating. He was definitely closer to being on than Cassio was
