If it's part of Jerwhatsomo's culture, he'll do it again and he will eventually be caught. (probably only after he does it to Del Piero)
We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Id like to see
....................Paston
Leo......... Siggy...... Dura....... Lockie
Totori... Smith....... Manny..... Fenton...
...........Boyd......... Heysegems
Currently Ifill is slowing our pace we had in game 1 down, receiving the ball facing wrong way and behind him.
Give Brockie a rest and bring him on in second half.
If we had started with Totori we would have conceeded eight

I think the starting lineup is fine, Brockie might be better tio start on the wing with Ifill up front with Stein, this may give us more pace on one wing - Fenton is sweet - and a little more accuracy up front, although Stein is doing fine
Queenslander 3x a year.
I personally think we are still slightly too weak defensively, especially when we turn over the ball and they get behind our wingers. There's acres of space there, and our wingers arent natural defensive players.
It means manny and smith need to slide over and space opens up on the other side of the pitch.
I guess the solution is to either give the wide men less attacking responsibilites/ play more defensive wingers. Or go to a 433 where the central midfielders have a bit more insurance when they move wide to cover. Think it will be very interesting when Sanchez is back to 100%.
I would also move Ifill up top
My thoughts on how this will pan out tonight:
Siggy's red will be rescinded
Jeronimo will escape a ban with a stern FFA style warning! (ie Slap in the wrist with a wet tissue!)
Durante will be given a hefty fine when FFA realise they can't suspend him if they don't suspend Jeronimo!

I agree with you C-Diddy, I will look forward to ":welcoming " the Diver on the 24th February!
Unfortunately I think Red will stand for the pull back on "Divers" shoulder - as this was the foul red was for. So dive was irrelevant and making Ref's decision correct (No stand down or sanction) Dura will get a reprimand(Balancing no action for dive and ref)
Hope I'm wrong but FFA have to save face!

I'd be very surprised if they overturn the referees decisions after last week's debacle in Newcastle.
What good comes of ON PITCH Interviews immediately the final whistle goes?

If Durante does get punished in some form, we should refuse to do post match interviews for the rest of the season. Why should we risk our players purely so Fox Sports can chat to them?

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
My take on the whole saga: http://27rounds.com/2012/10/29/diving-deceit-and-durante/
I think it might help us that David Moyes publicly commented on diving over the weekend,
and the Red to Torres (even though he didn't dive on this occasion). They're setting a good precident.
Argh spoilers. Just started watching that game :p must remember to avoid football forums while watching EPL haha
Adelaide v Wellington Phoenix
3 - Osama Malik. 2 - Jeronimo Neumann, 1 - Cassio
So what happens to these points if Jeronimo was to be suspended tonight???

Sigmund suspension upheld, Jeronimo found not guilty. No news on Durante.
WOW!
Not a happy camper right now!

Quite right Patrick 478......when did we get so soft that simple contact between players gave the automatic right for referees to punish?
Gone are the days of Vinnie Jones, chopper Harris and Norman Hunter; the modern game is more skillfull, faster and there's more excitement on the pitch. The modern continental style of play doesn't deserve a place over her however if playing for every foul and unsportsmanlike conduct is rewarded by incompetent referees. I've been worried about A League referees for a while; in the EPL the standards are higher and the likes of Suarez and Torres have thankfully been out on notice.
Expecting a ban for Durante now.
Moosecat to play at Centre-half next week vs Tards!

Absolutely despicable.
Even if they ruled it was a foul for the tug on the arm, Jeronimo should've been punished for what is a blatant dive and unsporting behaviour at the very least.
It really is sickening and it does not bring football any more fans in general.

No matter how much we dislike this shambles, the only real option is to take it on the chin.
I hope the team will get over it quickly and let their feet do the talking and win on the pitch.
As for Durantes comments, they were in the heat of the moment and before he could collect his thoughts, as such I hope he gets slapped with a wet bus ticket.
But boy am I Looking forward to the when the reds visit wellington......

Jeronimo Neumann jokingly makes a diving gesture before getting in the cold water at recovery yesterday.

That decision is appalling. Even if you accept Sigmund "tugged" his arm (rubbish), and even if you think that might have forced him to go to ground 4 yards later, the ball was clearly about to be collected by Paston anyway - no goal-scoring opportunity was lost, and the red card was wrong.
When you factor in that Sigmund barely touched him, and he only dived when he saw he could not get the ball, the decision was appalling, and the upholding of it sends a clear message to footballers everywhere - you SHOULD dive, because you owe it your team to do everything to win the gae, and even if you get caught, we'll just ban the defender.
Did they call Sepp in to do this one personally?
The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini - convened to consider the following incidents from Week 4 of the Hyundai A-League:
1. The incident involving Ben Sigmund (Wellington Phoenix) in or around the 77th minute of Wellington Phoenix’s match against Adelaide United on Saturday evening. The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the player was issued with a direct red card. In reviewing the incident and an Obvious Error Application submitted on behalf of the player, the MRP determined that there was no Obvious Error within the meaning in the A-League Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations), Obvious Error being “a decision by the Referee to…..issue a Red Card when no card was warranted….being a decision that no referee in the possession of all the facts, including all Broadcast Footage, could reasonably have made.” The MRP confirmed that Ben Sigmund will serve the Mandatory Match Suspension of one (1) match and therefore will be unavailable for this weekend’s match against Melbourne Victory. As the MRP did not uphold the Obvious Error Application, there was no basis under the Regulations to conduct a post match review for possible Simulation.
2. The incident involving Steve Pantelidis (Perth Glory) in or around the 56th minute of Perth Glory’s game against Sydney FC on Sunday afternoon. The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the player was issued with a direct red card. The MRP confirmed that Steve Pantelidis will serve the Mandatory Match Suspension of one (1) match and therefore will be unavailable for this weekend’s match against Newcastle Jets.

I think our players should have an expert diving instructor hired to teach them the fine art.
We will never fully decide who has won the football.
how could a ref have given that having seen the footage
