Muscat Siggy Dura Lochhead

Bertos Diego Daniel
Ifill Greennacre
On a little roll. No one bad enough to be dropped
For creative players like Daniel and Diego, it is sometimes putting the hard workrate in to get more opportunities to be creative. Creativity has an element of luck involved. This is sometmes not taught well.
As the saying says. "The more I work, the more luckier I am."
So here's hoping that they can put the hard yards expected of them.

I think it's time to push Ferrante back out after not showing much in the last two, Costa should be on the bench this week IMO.

Two and a bit seasons isnt that much.
I caught you out! Ha.
To me though. even though it hurts to say.
And ignore the obvious Position differences
If Siggy trained once a week and Daniel went to every training.
I would prefer Daniel.
To me, Someone who puts as much effort into training as they can should deserve that starting spot.
LOLs

Before this goes downhill.

Conjecture and hypotheticals. You know, we could just talk about the coming game ?
I was just using your hypothetical.
My guess is that in tiatto's case though.
He trains with the team, and keeps fit outside of training.
And every week proves that he deserves a starting spot during the game.
That and he is old (For a footballer)
Enough about Tiatto though.
What was this about?
Ah yes, Phoenix V Sydney!Stefan2009-08-24 22:11:06
Does that score line count as stupid dave?
Jokes oska.
2-1 to the nix is my prediction. My Spidey senses tell me its going to be close.
Sydney held central coast to a 0-0 draw at bluetongue.
I would expect a tough but good game at the SFCStefan2009-08-24 22:15:01
Ifill, Greenacre, then Lia blast from outside the box 2 mins after coming on in 60th. And also supersub Hearfield last couple of mins when all the Sydney men are pushed up, the volley from China that didn't count.
Their goal is just a lucky freekick (which are figgin hard to stop on World class on fifa)
In all seriousness.
Same line up will occur to last week unless Brown is fit.
Although I would really like to see Lia considered a start. Or give him a run at RB for a point to see how he goes. Could be the attacking RB we want?

NZ Herald this afternoon
""Wellington Phoenix dangerman Leo Bertos has bounced back from a vicious tackle during his side's 1-1 draw against Brisbane Roar on Sunday and will be available for this weekend's A-League soccer match away against Sydney.
A shudder went through the Phoenix ranks when setpiece specialist Bertos was upended in a late sliding tackle from behind by a frustrated Roar striker Robbie Kruse in the dying minutes of the match
Bertos, who snatched the winner over Perth Glory with a 40m freekick for a 2-1 home win in their previous match, was struck in the right calf and struggled to get up.
However, a club spokesman told NZPA today that Bertos, who has been in sparkling form, appeared to have no lingering effects.
There were no injury problems for the club, with striker Paul Ifill, who started the Roar match with a niggle, expected to be fit for Sydney, the spokesman said.
Midfielder Tim Brown did not travel for the Roar match because of a groin injury but he too was expected to be available, the spokesman added.""
