Was going to say when we scored, does anyone think that Sanchez has made Daniel a better player? That cross was great and their combination has been really impressive recently

good first half. very entertaining- 2-1 pretty reflective of how it has played out so far (although could be about 5-4!)

feel we should have done a lot better with the chances we've had...happy to go in ahead, would have been annoyed to be down after this half...

Defence optional from both teams at the moment!

Not sure if 2-1 is reflective when they've hit the post twice haha.

Sanchez, Daniel, Manny have been good - Leo (how hasn't he scored?), Brown, Lia very poor.

Have been keeping an eye on Brown all game and he _never_ tracks his runner - it's horrible stuff. It's the main reason they keep having time to thread balls through. We're lucky they dont have Carle or we'd be torn a new onevaleo2012-01-04 15:54:33

Agree Brown cant handle the style of play atm.Lia good with the changeup ball lately

Interesting stat: Dani 4 shots, Leo and Brown 3 shots each... those two have to start converting.

yep- Warner has been good. Starting to win me over. Catches a lot, and now is starting to look sharp.

And for those who were hassling Ricki and his player selection (Ok I was one) : hasn't he got it absolutely right in Sanchez?

yep Brown out of touch still with his shooting, and Leo has never really been in touch in his career! Always been the missing piece of the puzzle from him being really top class...
