As of 4:30pm this arvo, PAX 5448.

And yeah, we get an aisle in uncovered seating aisle 4-5 of the newer stand side.

Not sure how that will work out with everyone wanting to stand, with the people behind probably wanting to be seated....

Even more p**sed off when we're standing, swearing, drinking, waving banners, singing, etc. Hopefully the only way they will see is if they stand up too. They will soon get the hang of it & find that they enjoy the experience a bit more than staying seated all the time. If that happens, then its mission accomplished.

You could watch the Nighthawks, of course you've got no time for Coal Face football.  Just supporting Australian football.

How's my driving? - Whine here

I had some lady with a kid tell me to sit down at the All Whites v Bahrain qualifier. When Fallon scored I turned around and said they better be f**ken standing now! It ain't rugby, people!

I'm so excited about this. The only way I'd be more excited was if it were in Thames.

I just hope the Phoenix management have been on the phone talking to stadium security to ensure that "misunderstandings" over our standing up to watch the game are not enforced.

The security people will get a lot of grief if they ask anyone to sit down in the Fever Zone.

OK in reply to my own question....

I just had a call from Ticketek in Hamilton, they are moving the Yellow Fever zone back further into the stands.

This means a change of tickets, the current ones have been cancelled. You may/should recieve a phone call if you have purchased a ticket already in the Yellow Fever Zone to advise you of this.

The options are: get emailed replacement tickets, or pick-up replacement tickets from Gate 1 on Saturday at the game.

Some of you may already be aware of the change, but just for those who haven't had a call yet.

I am assuming they will try to call everyone who has purchased a ticket in the Zone alreadyArd Righ2010-07-08 16:30:28

I was joking :)

I don't blame him for moving either, he needs game time.

I reserve the right to boo him a bit if he scores a goal though :P

Has anyone had their replacement tickets emailed through?

spent 15 minutes on hold at ticketek while someone tried to find out what was going on, was then told to ring the local promoter? and given a hamilton number to call. of course noone answered so I left a message.

good grief

Same problem for us too. And they were moving us, or something? Meh.

EDIT: Ah, just read the page before that everyone was being moved. Boss.

apparently according to Hamilton ticketek the person who can email the replacement tickets isn't in until after 3pm today. so the advice is to go to gate 1 and pick up before game

I'M GETTING A BIT EXCITED.

Taking the kids down to the open training session at the stadium, 4pm. For the kid's benefit, honest.

I went down to the open training session today and I asked Sir Herbert if Rojas was playing and the answer was no, "he's not quite right".
What I noticed about the triallist, Mango Viera, is he can't kick the ball very hard at all and isn't something to write home about though I didn't really see too much of him to comment really. There was also a young dude in blue boots trialling. I didn't get his name but he said he was from Auckland. And Gould looked pretty sharp in goal I thought.

Edit: Oh and Cole Peverly has travelled up with the team. So not sure if he is trialling or just filling in.

Wonder where the Cole Peverly Zone is at the stadium.

I know Eden Park is at half capacity, but how good would it be if we can get more to a Phoenix friendly in Hamilton than an All Blacks versus Springbok test! Get in there!
