P.S, don't worry about no sound at the end, wasn't anything nix related, just talking out of his ass as usual.
Thanks for that - Was unhappy about it being untelivised, but I guess you have to expect that with pre-season games.Great result and a good turn out by the Tron-Population.

Started the day with an 11am kick off which we won 5-0, then down to the pub for a quick one before the big game. Got Family tickets in the top stand 'cos I wasn't going to pay full price for the kids, but my heart was in the zone. Also brought a workmate and a couple of her friends who had not been to football before and they really enjoyed it. Snuck out to the "toilet" with 10 to go, joined my mates in the Fever zone (Sloth and the MV supporter mentioned a few pages back) and removed shirt - fark it was cold, but better view from there than right up the top I thought. Great day, and glad to see a good turnout.  Spoke to a few out-of-towners, well done to all those that travelled, especially the Wellingtonians. Now you know how we feel when we come down there . Good game, Ifill looked full of energy, great goal from Mac, and the new guys looked keen too.

Took the kids to the training session on Friday too, then pushed them aside to get my RR signed by Ricki and the team. Sorry kids.

Great weekend all round. See you all again next year!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Good crowd, pretty good game.
Diego was pants (purple boots?),  thought the striker who subbed on, was very quick! Paston made a mega save in the first half, he is the man.

Great ground. Couldn't see the feverzone, but could see everyone looking at you all with 10 to go  Nice work, could hear you all from up top.

Thought Musa looked like he had a lot of time on the ball, and good technique. I thought he looked quite good, though did get caught out a little.

Worried about the 'Nix on attack though. Our attack options? Ifill.
Our quality defensive cover? none. Missing McKain big time.
D-Mac is ok, but not a silver bullet.

I'm worried we are going to leave ourselves short, and this year without the pace of Costa, the depth that McKain, Siggie and Dura gave us, and without the shot in the arm that Dadi gave us.

I wouldn't be worried, but also no Tony! sooo...yes not impressed with Magno on this outing, and really concerned that we had few ideas going forward.

p.s. who was the tosspot number 6 for Brisbane. instant dislike.

Also great turn out for Hams! The WEL had the sun so that was nice. Good away ground. A nice atmosphere for the game. Good turn out. Love the ring of fire though...

Did i really see some claims that the yellow fever was sold out? We went down and sat there a few seconds after kick off, bit miffed we couldn't buy family seats there in the first instance, really looking forward to the season now.
you sure that was the zone because we were standing, even my kids grand dad thats was a first timer and a retired farmer. He couldnt believe it was more fun than being at the eggball

I've long said that.  Could be a 40k rectangular with a really threatening atmos.

Would be awesome, but then we would have to do something ridiculous - play all our cricket at the best cricket ground in the country.
Thats Seddon park

Yes Seddon Park.

Clearly New Zealand's premier cricket venue.

I heard that the crowd attendance was just over 9000 for the match, pretty good.

It's hard to judge the team and the players from just one outing, especialy as Browny and Bertos weren't playing.

Looking forward to seeing who we sign though.

Yip, right in front of me! The guy who was waving them was f**king funny too.

Had an awesome day out. I loved when the security lady told us all to sit down, and this guy a couple of seats over started a chant "We stand up at the football" and that caught on where we were.

I must say I was a little concerned when she stormed off to get the police! She must have taken my advice & found out about the lack of rules in the Fever Zone.

Was a very good turn out of locals & Aucklandians,  the three locals who came with me to the game are organising a weekend away to come to the RoF to catch a game, & they are all staunch egg chasers!

Voice is still knackered 5 days after the event, had to tell the boss I had caught the flu, his reply was "I'm not f**king surprised! I saw you with no shirt on during the One News coverage"

( Feverish- Banners are back in the usual spot, Cheers)

Serious?! What a muppet. I'm guessing there was a security guard doing this on each side of the block because we got a bloke on the right side and he was both friendly and reasonable when I informed him that we stand.
