How many 2nd game refs have we had so far this season? By my calculation this will be number 3. Though I have no idea how this relates to the rest of the teams or how many new refs there are this season.

They really have raided the kindergarten this weekend, 5 total games between Evans, Hayward & Laverdure. Interesting to see the gave O'Leary the Adelaide game.

Not sure if it has been mentioned previously, but this game is the last game that you can redeem your free ticket from the season pass deal, so if you haven't done so already, get on the phone to Mya (sp?) on 04 384 2457, & claim your ticket.

The grass will be at 12mm this weekend as opposed to 20mm. Read into that what you will.

The aussies will complain, no doubt.

Can you lay a little bit of a cricket pitch at the end Ryan is keeping. Just so he can feel it a little bit more when he's diving left and right.
Then move it for the second half.

If Paston had ever made a dive in his life this might be an issue. Apart from for the laughs of having Ryan dive on it for 90 minutes, moving it at half time really shouldn't be a problem.

Team Wellington plays its second curtain raiser against Otago United on 9 December.
There will also be a curtain-raiser at the stadium on 2 December, featuring YoungHeart Manawatu and Waikato FC.

Huysegems told me today he should be ok. Only change will be Siggy for Boxall. Sanchez 3-4 weeks away from return.

was thinking this, but i guess it's still a pretty good gig for him

cant recall paston having an injury free season for the nix and history under ricki shows that if you get a shot at goalie and go well, he wont take you back out again

plus it's probably the only club where he could sit on the bench and still make the all whites

and his age means he can be safe in the knowledge that he's guna be here well beyond the end of paston's career - to be honest i thought pasty was done at the end of last season so surely this is the swansong? guess he could stretch for the world cup but he'd be pushing it

seems like a while since that game of two halves v the orange scum

be good to have Siggy back as much for his ability to force Leo to think about his postioning as anything else (and to allow Dura to add a bit of Leo nannying as well)

wondering if a bit of Vinnie might help slow the Salties down

and so, the waiting for sunday afternoon begins ....

I for one think Paston is a much better keeper.

Moss has no goal kick unless they have trained him !

But long time no c in a league, only B team games.

But very very quick reflexes  only time at A L level will tell.

Be quite MC.

He has years on Paston, who has hinted at retirement on more than one occasion.

SOS to all the Fever - this weekend your team needs your undying and committed support at the game. Bring your voice, your missus and the kids but sing up for the boys. More than anything on Sunday we need to keep the chants going, new ones old ones doesn't matter but we know the effect we can have on the team, aye!
